Don't these people realize they're saying the same thing about every game they make? Either Ubisoft PR people think gamers have the memory of goldfish, or they are truly deluded.
What do you want them to say? Nope, sorry it will run like shit as always. Nope, no NVIDIA speicific features. Multicore support? Nah, we can't be bothered.
I was really hoping they would learn from their mistakes and bring back Jesper Kyd.
Fucking Ubishit

Jesper has been pretty much going with Gearbox for quite a while now, he didn't even compose the soundtrack for Absolution which was a little weird, considering they brought back Bateson.
Does anyone know if he's the composer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel?
Yup, confirmed, Kyd is doing Borderlands again:

Hey guys, we just revealed at PAX that I'm composing music for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. More details soon!
Co-op Customisation and F2P Elements in Assassin's Creed Unity - Eurogamer Preview
Assassin's Creed Unity gives you a huge amount of customisation options for your character in the cooperative missions, some of which you can buy for real world monies. In this video Uinty's Creative Director Alex Amancio, tells us how the customisation works, and how heavily the free-to-play aspects feature in the overall experience.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
• Revelations was created in less than a year and Unity has been in the works for four years.
• Everyone in France that has an important moment in the game has a British accent because the Animus is translating to the language that you speak. The Animus does not translate people in the crowds, so they will have accents and speak French.
• Players have the option to play the entire game in French with subtitles.
• You will be playing as Arno for the whole time but there are "a few surprises"
• This game will not contain memory flashbacks like in Revelations
• The game is littered with side activities
• The way that they structure the main story is a bit different, They still have sequences but the way that they set up the sequences are a bit different.
• Each Sequence is imagined as a chapter with a beginning, a middle and an end
• They tried to avoid having "urgency" so that players can have time to take in the world
• The relationship between Arno and Elise is linked to the plot.
• Arno and Elise have the same objective but their methods differ
• Arno is 21 when the game starts, close to the age that he becomes an Assassin
• Most of the important characters from the French Revolution are featured in the game
• One notable character that you get to meet in the game is the Marquis de Sade
• Arno is not related to Altair or Ezio but he is part of an assassin bloodline.
• Arno's Eagle Vision/Sense is wilder than other Assassins because he didn't have a mentor to teach him how to use that power.
• The new white room( what happens after you kill the target) is due to the fact that Arno's power is raw and uncontrolled and unfocused.
• Co-op takes a little bit of time to unlock, roughly an hour- so they can teach you how to play the game. When this happens all of Paris is unlocked.
• We have "Heist missions" that have the player sneak in to a location and steal the loot without being detected. Loot goes down if you get caught.
• They promote stealth with rewards.
• Weapon stats have Power. weapon attacks and Range
• Unity will have lots of different gear elements and special armors you can find and unlock
• The Assassins from the Horizon trailer were the Assassin's Council
• The new disguise system is a skill and it allows you to pick a character and make Arno look like them with an Animus hack. This will stay until a high profile action is committed. This means players could potentially look like another person and walk around Paris.
• You can get all the skills by playing the game. However, there are 4 separate skills for coop that you can choose each time you decide to play cooperatively.
• You can Play Rogue and Unity in any order- Play Rogue first and you will have a mystery solved in Unity. Unity has a mystery at the beginning that will be answered in Rogue.

its a shame really, they had 4 years to develop this but with every year release of ac it looks all the same. there should at least be a 2 year gap between releases
we are still waiting for a new prince of persia for fuck sakes
If it looks the same to you then you will never be satisfied. What are you expecting from a new Assassin's Creed game? There's only so much you can change before it's not an Assassin's Creed game anymore (which AC IV proved).
Also Prince of Persia brand is on hold for quite some time now.
well, assassins creed 1 was originally a new prince of persia (prince of persia: assassins).
apparently the same team worked on both sands of time and ac1, its pretty obvious as well, when you compare the combat and platforming.
needless to say, sands of time was a far superior game to ac1.
i wish they made another one that was about puzzles and platforming like sot, the 2 sequels went more into combat and werent nearly as good.
as for the newest, cel-shaded one...well that was pretty much "qte - the game", simply horrible
"We have the single-player story and we have the co-op with different missions which are each a standalone story, and then we have all of the stuff that populates Paris.
"With street murders, you find corpses, and you work with [Eugène François Vidocq] - he's sort of the father of French modern criminology. You can put people in jail, you can accuse and interrogate people - you can accuse the wrong person. You might go to the jail and find that it's all filled with innocent people by the end of the game. It's all done though investigation and exploration."
To forestall the obvious question, it's not clear whether you can have people guillotined. This seems perfectly consistent with the story, but might be considered a little gratuitous. I can only imagine what the Daily Mail would make of a game in which you can set up a public execution.
Other side missions include "treasure hunts" created by Nostradamus, a 16th century prophet who's said to have foreseen the rise of Napoleon. "Nostradamus, who lived in Paris long ago, left these riddles," Amancio went on. "And you know how we have these huge databases that nobody ever - well, some people like them, but we felt that if you have a real reason to read them, then more people will."
Rather than testing your skill with a blade, the Nostradamus quests hinge on observation of the environment and knowledge of the city's history. "They offer clues that lead you to monuments, but they're all in riddle form. So if you learn about the monuments, you'll know, that there was only one clock in Paris at the time. 'Where did I see that? oh there's a clock here.' Then you go to the clock and find the next clue.
"Our contracts always have to do with either a famous person who lived in Paris at that time and/or a famous event," he added. "Or even a very little known story that happened in Paris at that time. Even our murders - a lot of them are based on legends or murders that actually happened. Sometimes they're not from the same period, but we like to just put them in there and change them a little bit."
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
The PCSS shadows look... weird. Real life shadows look sharp, like an actual projection of the object. The PC-exklusifff version looks blurry as fuck. Typical I guess.

I can't stand most AA techniques, honestly. I usually disable AA in exchange for sharper textures. I can stand the jaggies (which aren't that bad in high resolutions) but i can't stand blurry textures.
