Yeah, I had a chuckle to myself earlier with how hidden it was... The number of "SteamDB Unknown App"s there are, I wonder what other magical treasures await. Laughing

Oh and one bonus point goes to the fact that the game requires 30GB HDD space. Perhaps it really will contain the high-res vids?

I'm sure Final 6 will come to Steam. By the looks of it, everything FF will be on (or confirmed for) PC by the end of 2015. They've ported the DS/iOS/Android versions of 3 and 4 across, so 5 then 6 shouldn't be far behind. Very Happy

Yup, I fully expect V and VI by Spring 2015 to be honest. When was FFIII? May? Four months later IV comes, I think we'll have V by Christmas and then VI early in 2015. I don't think we'll ever get IX/X/X-2/XII though Sad

No mouse menus, looks like they're just directly translating controller actions to k/m, which isn't going to please many PC gamers .. but meh, it's a controller game just like every other FF.

I still really want FF9 on steam tbh. I really don't wanna buy 13 again, and wasn't a huge fan of it. I can see why JRPG fans like it, but just not my thing. Like I love Ar Tonelico but some people hate it ya know.

I feel as I need to purchase it to tell square "yes, please bring FF15 to pc"

It's hard to not feel like they haven't just been testing Steam when they started randomly re-releasing/porting Final Fantasy games.

This seems like the biggest test, so yeah, buying it seems wise if you want their future games on Steam.

Aye, I really don't expect mouse stuff in FF. Always used controllers when playing their games. That being said: they shouldn't be lazy

After 4 years yea I think it is fair to expect more than just a straight "port". But then again it is also just $15.

I wouldn't be shocked if FFX/X-2 eventually got an iOS port or something, and then we'd get it on the PC. I mean, if they put Dragon Quest VIII on iOS I don't see why they wouldn't ever do FFX/X-2.

Unless there's some kind of Sony only contract that they have with that shit.

Still, it will take a LONG time before that actually happens I think.

I don't think it has any direct relation, otherwise those ~60 Euro games by Ubisoft and some other developers would be in a better shape. Very Happy

We shall see when it's released I guess.

As far as i remember they used some Sony proprietary software to port FFX/X-2 to PS3/vita that's why there isn't even a 360 version so i wouldn't count on that anytime soon.

FF9 and FF12 HD remakes is what I want for PC.

Not gonna happen for FF9 due to some legal reasons (was discussed before many times), but FF12 may come I think.

I really dont think Squeenix would release a game for 15$ if it wasn't the shoddiest work ever done. I know all the other ones were in this price range, but c'mon, we're not talking about android/ DS games.
But i gotta say i'm buying it anyway. Anything that gets me closer to the possibility of FFXV on PC Laughing Laughing Laughing

Same price as on ps3 so why should they ask more if the only difference is the platform?

When they release old games, barely work on it and then have the audacity to ask full price... well they could go fuck themselves.
It's not like the pricing would magically make them better at porting stuff.
