I have to agree, but the Trailers they make are pretty hilarious, especially when Torgue is in them grinhurt

And who can blame them when the masses are happily milked.

$70 plus $30 season pass for what essentially is a large-scale mod... Laughing

Im not a big fan of Borderlands but i really like it, i prefer same gfx and playstyle with new missions over improvements that may go bad. Example FFX to FFXI/FFXII, i miss FFX Playstyle.

But i have to agree, this DLC and Season pass stuff is out of hand these days, hope that this shit dies within the next years, miss the old Expansion CDs (yeah, i know this Borderlands could be aswell an Expansion for BL2).

In days where CoD expansion number 8 is on top of sales charts and sells couple maps for 15 bucks - i am not surprised that almost every game have season passes.
As for BL:TPS , i like the franchise but curious how new dev did it this time. Will wait till Oct 2015 hen season pass is done anyway to do proper playthrough like i do with every game with Season passes

Milking or not, I love the Borderlands games so I'll happily yarr this when it comes out. Though by the time all the DLC is out ("October 2015") I'll have burnt myself out and won't get around to playing it all ... just like BL2 Sad

I was actually watching that and waiting to see that, yes, Claptrap *is* playable without the hassle of oxygen Very Happy That's a nice touch and while it's completely obvious that it should be like that, you never know when it comes to arbitrary game mechanics and limitations. I like the Claptrap doesn't "need" oxygen and only uses it the same way other characters do; floating/flying/stomping Very Happy

I know I'm the minority here, but I really actually didn't enjoy any of the borderlands games. I can see why it is so highly praised by many though, but I just couldn't get into it.

Then again I was playing it solo, when it really is meant to be played as a CO-OP game for most fun.

Need more co-op friends on steam Sad

Played whole game through with 3 charters and all DLCs + headhunters in co-op. Fun stuff, but we're both skipping this one. If it was BL3, then yes, but seems that can come out Christmas 2015 the earliest now. Well still missing the Ancient Dragons thingy, but we both hit lvl 72 now on main characters. Well I think you get it now, why more isn't needed for a while Razz

Only difference with solo and coop is that in coop you have someone to revive you. 2nd wind solo wasn't so easy to do. Some raid bosses are impossible solo, they were impossible with 2 persons even, until we were like 20 lvls above, but of course then loot is useless.

Anyways the game really just started when you got to Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. If it started with that, it would have been much better. But you pretty much need to have Magic Missile slag grenades, only found on last DLC http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Missile Infinite ammo and you get enemy slagged for your weapon to have any damage.

Evil NVIDIA just doesn't give Pre-Sequel with Maxwells, so might be summer sale of 2015 before I get it. By that time more Borderlands and loot shall seems fresh again, leave DLCs be and wait for BL3.

Well, the writer for Borderlands series, came out and said that people supporting #gamergate and #notyourshield are more or less pedophiles.
When people called him out on it, Randy Pitchford, the ceo of Gearbox, defended him.

Yep, Randy has been raging the good rage on Twitter about the terrible gamers and their misogynist bullying. He's defended Burch since the very start and raged at people that have been rightly pissed off about his comments.

Working in games development is a bit of an oxymoron, if you don't like gamers, isn't it?

Kinda funny because SJWs hate Borderlands and Gearbox. If I was in their shoes I'd have just stayed neutral or even doubled down and supported GG rather than alienating the one audience they actually had.

Duke Nukem Forever(literally rape) probably cost them any good will they had banked with the SJW side.

Yeah I wouldn't really expect the people who created a game with the patriarchical mysogynistical Duke Dukem, and have spent a lot of time and money idolising him. To then turn around and say that thats how all gamers are and they should be ashamed of themselves. What in the actual fuck.
