Because a lot of people rate Arsenal really high. Been happening for years so.
Kind of the same thing with the English national team.

Yeah, you keep thinking Dortmunds exodus is going to weaken them. They lose all their best players.

And for years I've been wondering why. It really blows my mind |
I think great part of the hype comes from the foolish British medias also, at least during every pre-season. The fans on the other hand are well aware of not being part to the "elite" (most of them at least), so the I ain't even mad mentality always prevails in the end, for the obvious reasons xD
Kinda like Juve, especially in its pre-calciopoli era. Even yesterday, against such a modest team, we risked yet another shallow draw. Thankfully based Carlitos decided that it was time to shine (again)

Pep has them playing more direct this season. Good to watch, barca style is pretty boring, all things considered.

I think he took some hints from Germany in the World Cup (which in turn showed a lot of influence by Guardiola). An hybrid between his style and the historical more direct approach of Germany teams is the ideal IMO.

Agreed. Pretty intense match, love the approach of that faster paced football, not only seems effective but is just fucking awesome to watch.

Their next match against Roma is going to be interesting. CSKA's defence was absolutely clueless today but still, it was a great showcase. I've seen only 20 mins of Bayern vs City, but it was enough to acknowledge that Bayern are still damn scary, one of the (if not the) most complete teams in the world without a doubt.

So proud of my home city team! Yes, there was a clear foul by Vardy on the 2-3 penalty decision but the team dominated after this on the pitch. Vardy was amazing, Ulloa is a killer striker and Pearson is a great manager. Standing 6th now on the table and I hope we continue like this.
