I'm watching it right now. It looks like it has more action than walking dead although this is the pilot so next episodes might be slower.
I guess it's... OK . as in SyFy OK. it's "cheap" so the trailer did a good job showing it haha so if you have absolutely nothing to watch .you could waste some time on this for lulz..
Watched the trailer, thought "okay, this could be good". Saw first episode, in opening credits i noticed "The Asylum" was involved. Figured there was no reason to watch any further, did watch it anyway. wish i hadn't.
Low production and bad acting. Pretty much what you would expect from an Asylum and SyFy crossing.
TWD sets a new level/standard of TV Series zombie gore since its done on a near industrial-scale + the way they handle dismemberments/decaps/etc its utterly refreshing verses what we've seen from the past: tame-ness and reservedness. Best decision was to keep it away from the BS networks like CBC or NBC and go where they can "let go" and are NOT hand shackled to do what we've been waiting to see for as long as TV has been around. Yes its NOT the comics but good luck allowing the printed page ever being truly 1:1 with anything on-screen.

Well this was entertaining. Cheesy as fuck with clearly average or below average production values. I did enjoy it but it was cringy at times. The short slow mo action scenes are overused too I thought.
Did anyone notice what Hammond said how he found the camp at the start? He mentioned he heard about it from 'an ex-cop and some others taking shelter at a prison 20 clicks up the road'. Clearly a reference to The Walking Dead
Hammond also didnt last long. One episode? I guess he must have cost too much for anymore than that lol. And what is that scar or marking on his face? I dont remember that at the start before it skipped a year ahead.
