Sure thing bud, here you go; INI collection and SweetFX

You already know where to put them - inis in WellingtonGame and SweetFX in Bin32 Smile Thanks for the oneframe tip, I'll give it a try on my own.

@rubim

The look of them, yeah, but not the contents or properties Sad At least, not yet. Sadly as much as they play this off as being "too difficult" we all know it's really just to protect their profit via DLC. If people can create their own items at will, or have access to base game items, why would they pay for DLC "weapons"? Sad

What?

I pretty much made a chest with all silver keys, all tattos + hairstyle and all books from that silly quest.

Nice! The devs said right now you can only change visuals, not add/alter objects. This is great stuff! Well played Smile

I have no idea on how they port everything from Fable TLC to the unreal engine. Almost like they are emulating the old engine on this new engine.

Exact same files, with the exact same functions.

Maybe the ported everything, but it's an amazing work.

For me it's "entire game freezes solid, sound loops and stutters like a BSOD is about to happen" and then it clears up. It has been fine for the last 8 hours or so, as long as OBS is running, but now it freezes *constantly* if I equip the Bright/Dark Will User's Robes - another reported issue on the forum.

That is related to onboard sound im pretty sure, do you have usb headphones? or can you use a dedicated sound card? that should clear it out..

As for the frameskipping and frame related stutters, i solved them all just by using that setting i mentioned turned off.

Naw man, just FXAA forced in nVCPL and whatever comes with the preconfigured SweetFX. I haven't used downsampling or MSAA and I prefer the game *infinitely* without the depth of field vaseline bullshit. Oh and don't forget, those images are shrunken a bit with bbcode restrictions -- right click and open in new tab to see the full 1080p ones, maybe the AA won't see so good then? Very Happy

Finaly achieved your look , it is a LOT more playable, the vaseline look was giving me headaches for sure, jesus christ, thanks again, i still think overall the original game looks much cleaner, although alot more bland ofc it has aged, but i finaly got the game to a playable state, will go for the aniversary version, once you fix all these issues the game is actualy pretty playable, i have seen worst ports, but its still a poor port ..

Have you uploaded your mod anywhere? Smile

@hellishere

This is the issue we're facing and I've seen nothing that would suggest it's the sound card causing it. It cleared up a *lot* outside Oakvale, but still does it in some areas (like Hobbe Cavern or Darkwood) and definitely if wearing Will User Robes. I've been playing for nearly 12 hours now and it's great fun, really enjoying it, and it would be perfect if they fix the stuttering/hardlock stuff Sad

Would be nice to see more complex mods if this works instead of using the official tools which only support partial modding. Smile

Someone on steam cut the character's hair , went bald, and now his game doesnt freeze. It might be the hair's physics... ahah try it out..

If you cant cut your hair yet, just use a hoodie. it will do the same.

I'm using notepad++.

For some awesome reason, you can mod the maps while in game. Change the map by editing the appropriate file then just 'reload' the map (teleport out and in).

Well unless theres a way to disable the camera auto centering every time you take a turn, im done with the game, its unfortunate, i was enjoying it very much but i get motion sickness after a while, it constantly tries to auto center everytime you take a turn while running straight, ofc this doesnt happen when ur standing still doing 360's, its a shame, if anyone knows a fix, would apreciate, but as it is im done : (

You didn't reply so I spent some time looking up how to mod this myself (which was less fun, since everyone spoke of editing files that don't exist -- such as userst.ini -- I eventually found a bunch of them with prefixes like default_ or finaldeliverable_ so I just edited ALL of them to set UseLevelWAD=false) got around to getting Free Roam and all that installed and done. I tested and Free Roam definitely works (it's quite nice! makes Fable feel far more organic with less invisible walls) so I edited the DemonDoor_Guild.tng file, added your modded chest data to it... ran to the Demon Door and the chest is there, but nothing happens when I open it Facepalm

Am I missing something here?

~edit~

Neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmind, I got it Very Happy I was using your text from the Fable modding forum and it didn't work, but your text from up above the page ^^ worked just fine. Weeee! Thank you sir! Smile

I'm having some ISP problems.

I live on Brazil with a 100/50mb fiber optic, expensive as fuck but for some reason getting random disconnects to the point that its not even worth to stay online.

Anyway, sorry for the late response Sabin but you got it!

The text on the TLC forums is missing some arguments, this one is tweaked.

There is a sequence in the game where you are taken prisoner, at that moment the game shaved off my hair and beard (I guess they were confiscated along with the rest of my equipment.) however after a little racing mini-game and some stealth to get a key back I choose the wrong target (It's a book.) where the key would be located at which point you spend a year playing torture victim, my hair and beard came back after that. Smile

So it might be for fixing situations like that. Smile

For some awesome reason, you can mod the maps while in game. Change the map by editing the appropriate file then just 'reload' the map (teleport out and in).

Very interesting, and it looks like it's also possible to apply other Fable:TLC mods by using/altering the original files. Smile

That guide will show how to install the free-roam modification which removes many of the invisible barriers in the game.

But first for back-up purposes these two files:

FinalAlbion.wad
creature_hub.tng

In this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Fable Anniversary\WellingtonGame\FableData\Build\Data\Levels\

Should be moved or renamed first so you can replace the modified files with the original ones should it be desired, I think you have to rename the FinalAlbion.wad file either way so it'll load the unpacked data.

And then make a copy of the FinalAlbion folder since the mod will replace a number of existing files there.

After doing that go here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Fable Anniversary\WellingtonGame\FableData\Build

And open this file:

default_userst.ini
(Can also do the same to default_xuserst.ini )

Change:

UseLevelWAD TRUE;

to

UseLevelWAD FALSE;

And the game will instead use the unpacked data.
