I think the game is boring. Played it about 10 hours and it's just a loop grind. They made 3 enemies and they just got a different colour on other planets. I would give it a 6/10.
6/10 because it's a competent shooter at the core level, but there's almost no content - and the story is invisible and what little you actually do see is bland.
8 for me so far. I think there are a lot of new ideas on the table which resulted in compromising some of the other aspects of the game.
I'm excited to see where they can take the ideas in further iterations because once they've nailed the core online systems, they can begin to be creative with other aspects.
So it turns out i was right. The fact they refused to turn on the servers for reviewers only served one purpose, to withhold the shitty reviews they were going to get. It's happened too many times now. I have been burnt too many times. I'll play this for a week, and then I'll sell it. I'll never pre-order another game and I really hope that others follow suit. Even if you like to pre-order, don't pre-order a game that they refuse to allow reviews of pre-release. Activision and Bungie can go fuck themselves.

After many bad pre-orders(Diablo3/Rome 2) I learned my lessons. My brother wanted to buy 2 ps4 for Destiny, I managed to prevent that. Because I was a bit skeptical when no review shows up so close to launchdate and Bungie warned us about "first day reviews". Guess my hunch was right.
But Destiny is still better than the average shooter (For coop anyway)so I will buy the game....when its cheaper.
