Did they give any specs on the complete measures of the Iphone 6? I would like to know if it is at least a good bit smaller than my current Nexus 5...

Sorry, but you really must not have seen it in action then, other than the demo videos from I/O.
The transitions in Chrome mobile now are quicker than the ones in iOS still are. They're much more subtle. They're on a similar curve as the ones in iOS too.

Well I really dont know what phone to get now lol. I think between the 6 and 6 Plus I would go for the 6 Plus but Im still in two minds about the Z3 and even considering the S5. A friend of mine who is an Apple fan says the Android OS is prone to problems and viruses compared to IOS. My Dad had the Z1 and Z2 and never had any problems.

It's complete bullshit. In theory, sure, there are some things that could lead to bad things happening on an Android device. But most of them require rooting (jailbreaking) it too.
Not a single one of my friends and relatives have ever had any form of malware on their Android devices. And some of them are people who come to me every couple of months because they've got some crap on their laptops; and every time I run MBAM first thing, getting 800 hits within the first minute. It's the same as claiming Linux/OS X is immune to hacking and malware. It's simply not true. |

I love how a buddy of mine at work (grocery store) bought the new sony phone and it had mccafe installed. I lolled. Went from 3 to s2 to 4 to s3 and then 5s.
I prefer how apps work on ios. And for some reason even though it's a placebo effect... I prefer the glass on the ios lol. 
Was waiting for an iwatch but I'm still in the mood to get steel pebble. Both are too expensive for me. But I love the concept of wearable tech.

Pebble was my best buy last year, and I'm still incredibly happy with it.
Seeing the Apple and Samsung smartwatches, I still don't feel the need to switch. The only negative thing about the Pebble is the lack of color, but then again, thanks to the e-paper display it stays charged for at least 7 days.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Does is drain the phone battery? I don't have the luxury of having my phone plugged in at work. Once it dies it's dead.
Which one did you get? Steel or classic?

Holy hell! How did apple make a phone with a 4.7" screen bigger than a nexus 5 with a 5โ screen!
The nexus 5 doesn't really have that great a screen to frame ratio either.. Let's not talk about the g2 that manages to squeeze a 5.2" in the same size frame as a nexus 5.
.. Also wonder what the g3 looks like next to the plus

The 5s will be my last iPhone if Apple doesn't release a new smaller phone. In fact, it will be my last smartphone considering you can't get flagship android devices small either. Hopefully this massive phone fad will end in a couple of years.

Z3 Compact is the one that has caught my eye now.
It's flagship hardware at a decent size (127.3 x 64.9 x 8.6 mm, 5S is 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm), sits just in between my current N4 and the 5S in terms of size and I still think my N4 (as much as I like the damn thing) is slightly too big. |

The Z3 compact?
In order of height:
iPhone 4S: 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm
iPhone 5S: 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm
Z3 Compact: 127.3 x 64.9 x 8.6 mm
Nexus 4: 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 mm
Nexus 5: 137.9 x 69.2 x 8.6 mm
iPhone 6: 138.1 x 67 x 6.9 mm
iPhone 6+: 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1 mm
That's a 10.8mm difference in height between the Z3 and the 6, pretty substantial. Between the 4S it was "just" 8.6mm (same width in that case obviously though)
Difference in total surface area is also twice as much as it was between the 4S and 5S, so it's a fair bit smaller than my N4. |

Pretty cool. (iPhone 5S pictured above.)
Still need to get a 6 and a 6+ in my hands to decide how bad they are. I like the overall design, and from the simulator it seems really cool the HUGE space on the 6+. It also evident that Apple had something else in mind, but I guess either couldn't or decided to go cheap, with a 1080p display. Software on the 6+ renders at 414x736pt @3x (1242x2208px), and then scales to 1080x1920 using the hardware scaler. |
