Anyone else a bit worried that Bungie didn't enable servers early enough to get reviews out the door for release? I hate it when companies restrict reviews ahead of release, if it smells of fish it's usually fishy.

Sounds fishy indeed, I won't pay EUR 60,00 for a game that is not even reviewed, that's why I never pre-order aswell. I will just wait and see...

i don't think the missing reviews are an issue as such,
1. I think they want the servers full before reviewing to give it the best impression
2. a ton of people have already played the beta and rated it well.
3. If they fail with this game it would be a massive blow for bungie.

I personally don't know too much about the game but I'll get it because I liked halo, this looks good, and it helps convince my partner that I needed to buy the ps4 when I did.

They gave their reasons. Surely the Beta is enough to know how good the game is?! And I for one liked what I have already played.

Servers appear to be up. My game is installing Very Happy

Just as awesome as the beta in my opinion. Ive just had 2 hours on it and completed the first 4 story missions. Seems almost identical to the beta from what Ive seen so far. The only differences Ive noticed is the sparrow seems to be have improved thrust and speed doesnt drain as quick after boosting and the story missions have been changed. The Devils Lair which I remember as being level 6 in the beta is now level 8 and level 6 now begins on the moon.

My Dad is pretty pissed. He got the digital downloaded version and cant play until midnight but I got retail and have been playing since 1:15PM BST Smile

Nope but nowadays I always expect the worse from the videogaming companies. (Look what EA did with NHL 15 on PS4/XBONE...)

Yes exactly this, although ironically I have both a PS4 and a Xbox 1 but I'm cheap and still play burned games on 360. Very Happy Destiny is not a $60 investment for me, but a burned disc sure why not.

i'm so glad i didn't pre-order this Very Happy

i learned the hard way from Titanfall. with Titanfall i liked the beta very much but final release i played only a few hours of it.

this could be just the same and that's why i'm waiting for player reviews and how will people talk about this game 1-2 weeks after release.
