@ixigia you complain , i have a beast of a system comparable with Totalbisuct but only one Titan and this game runs like shit from 50 to suddenly 10-19 fps WTF... Nvidia needs new drivers or this game needs a patch

there is NO way now to play this normally , heck i had to play with X720p standards of derps ... in 900p with 720p scaling ... to have stable 60 fps ... heck with this i get 80 fps easy ... but the game looks so blurred Laughing

Laughing Yeah, when you use the Xbone-equivalent setting, it's like going back in time, very ~2008-like. Vaseline party Razz

It is really a pitiful port, with no scalability at all, and I doubt Capcom will even bother patching it Cool Face, so it's all up to Nvidia.

we're all fucking then

Aww Yeah
I'm already prepared to embrace the cinematic 24fps/720p combo with that one. Quick port to cash-in and cover the 2% of their debts. At least there's only one button to press, which makes it less painful grinhurt

Capcom Vancouver - now I understand why all of my keyboard controls (including arrow keys, the number pad, and all my mouse buttons) re-mapped correctly and without hassle. Apparently, developers in Canada own keyboards - the same can't be said of their parent company overseas (they must program with the tard-sticks and an on-screen keyboard....anything else would be major dishonibruu!) Laughing

Seriously, I think this is the first time in the series' history that I've been able to remap controls to my liking, and oh what a difference it makes. I uninstalled the prior two within an hour or so - this one I'm having a blast in (20 fps cut-scenes aside). Very Happy

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Half of that are the language files, since they decided to add every single one spoken in the world (exaggerating obviously).

so i checked at the topic at guru3d.com and some pp saying the stutter probs are caused by the massive amount of vram the game is using (above 3 gb vram lol, which is ridiculousness of course). So to lower the amount a little, set the textures to medium or something and try 720p.. or shift + del the piece of shit/wait for fix. also for me the performance go's down from the first minutes smooth to unplayable! i can restart to solve the prob for a few mins. but because of the terrible loading times even on my fucking ssd i refuse starting over again.

Crapcom, you fucked up!!!! because the game "CAN" be allot of fun! you fucking assholes!

On my regular HDD, it takes just over 1min from launching the game to getting in-game and able to play (yes I timed it Razz). I don't think that's an unreasonable amount of time really, are you saying yours takes longer than that?

The game holds 30fps ok, but it stutters like crazy and crashes.... + the contrast/hdr is terrible. I can't look at this game. There is something about it

I can't even make it to the garage in the beginning. For me, the game crashes more than a toddler behind the wheel of a car. Oh well.

I guess I just have really good luck with games that fuck up badly for other people because it's not so bad for me. 1080p/all settings in high, 90-95% of the time locked at 60, occasional short dip to the high-40s/low50s, and zero crashes in 10 hours played. I know a 780ti is good, but some I've seen people complain about not being able to manage a solid 60 at 720p/lower settings with a titan.

The game itself is actually pretty good, too. Then again, I liked the other Dead Rising games too. Not enough psychos for my standards, though. Seems a bit sparse compared to the earlier games (I could be wrong), and I think that the transition from the old, annoying escort system to the new "lol, you saved them, winnar!" mechanic makes the game seem way too easy though.

Just finished it after 10 hours or so i guess. Had only one crash during that time.
But in the last chapter the performance got fucked up like hell. Constant stuttering and slowdowns Embarassed
After that ending i would expect an DLC/expansion. Or maybe they will just make DR4 Surprised

@Terje22
Only 14k kills? I had about 45k at the end Shocked
