I'm less concerned with which deformed mongoloid I get a fade to black "romance" scene with than all the other shit in the game that looks like it will be terribad.
So 2 options for straight male, that sounds ok,it was the same in previous DA games, let's see what we have here:
...the fuck are those? Shemales?
Cassandra was actually ok looking in DA2,but they went full retard here. :/
And Josephine has the same writer as Liara so she might be ok...after a few apperance mods that is.
But reading the Bioware romance thread is giving me a headache. Bioware employee going on about straight man privlidges and all that. *sigh*...why did I even bother...
@ Lolozaur
I'm actually ok with that, since Leliana was my romance option in the first game.
You can tell the game is going to be shit when there is more thought in the sexual orientation and romances of the characters than actual tactical combat and gameplay.
I mean, romances are like little side stories to make the player care more for his chars, that are nice to have, but they should not be such a huge fucking topic.
But here we are, grown people (the devs aswell as the consumers) talking about this fucking gimmic that formerly just came as a nice to have bonus, but now is an issue because straight men and privileges. I MEAN WTF IS HAPPENING TO VIDEO GAMES!!! I WANT PROPERGAMEPLAY NOT ROMANCES BETWEEN CHARACTERS.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
I don't know what the fuck happened to Cassandra. She was absolutely fine in DA2. You could see she was tough and not some barbie doll. You don't have to toughen her up even further. Now you can barely tell she is a she. It's like the opposite of Japanese games. In Japan they make really feminine male, apparently in BioWare land, they make female as masculine as possible.
havent really followed the game, can you import the saves from 1+2 in this? thinking of doing a replay for first 2 games since i almost forgot everything in story
No, not saves directly. Instead they have the DA Keep. It's a web-based "world state" generator. You set it up via a browser, then the game contacts their server to grab the info. So a form of DRM, more or less.
I Googled the way of importing saves into Dragon Age 3 after I heard about the Keep thing and found several articles which stated that it is completely optional and you can still import your save files the normal way. Not sure how up to date their information was though.
I though that the Keep is for people who lost saves from previous games, or didn't play them at all, so they can choose the bigger world-setting events' outcomes. Similar to what was in ME without saves, but done via a webbrowser.

Bioware have never said that, as far as I know. They made it clear from the beginning that Keep will be the only import option. There will be no manual import option. Remember this is a console game, their primary concern is handling cross-generation migration. PC is an afterthought, so it's highly unlikely we'd get some special additional treatment. Not to mention that the Keep is a handy form of DRM, as I said earlier.

I hope they make a workaround for the isodemo
The logical solution is a save editor. Create a new game with the default world state, save as soon as possible and exit, edit the save to change the flags to whatever is appropriate. Much the same as you could do in ME2 and 3 with gibbed's save editor.

If not, I might have to buy the game.
That's a bit extreme. It's highly unlikely your world state will have any significant impact, beyond a few throwaway lines of dialogue. I definitely advise playing the game first before committing to buy it. Chances are that it is juts as derp as DA2.
Ladyboys and cloud saves, this is all very amusing.

I always had the impression the Keep is just another way for players to maybe change some decisions they made in previous two games and for those who lost their DA1 and 2 saves files. And for the rest that still have them, you can just import normally, not fuck around with the Keep. At least that's how I understood it.
No. They have said repeatedly that there is no save import. The Keep is a complete replacement for it. If you don't use the Keep, you get the default choices (Dalish warden who did ultimate sacrifice, Alistair is king, mage Hawke sided with mages, etc.).
well i watched yesterday all 15+trailers that are out for it and got quite excited ; the only problem i can see its with the forced sidequests, if they get too boring we are fucked
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
