"goes gold", i guess they just like to throw that term for marketing sake nowadays. discs with final version on them were pressed like a month ago, probably already waiting in amazon warehouses
I am really thinking to get the game at launch aswell, so little good games out on the ps4 and this one is super hyped... I also want to play alone, is there any news out about the campaign length? It looks to me (I might be wrong) that this game is more multiplayer oriented? I hope I am wrong.
You are right, the game is multiplayer oriented. Some missions in the beta were impossible in solo, but I'm not sure they were mandatory to keep going in the story. I think you can solo the story missions just fine, but it's hard to say...

yea the ones that were insanely difficult solo were the strikes, which are side quests and not story missions.
Had a level 8 titan and a level 8 hunter in the Beta. I enjoyed both but I think Ill start out as a titan, assuming there will only the same 3 classes in the retail game.

uhhh you do realize this is an ONLINE game right? With the main feature being an open world universe expierence, its kinda hard to review a game like that when only a handful of reviewers have the game.

this isn't MMOFPS (planetside2 etc) where you actually need 1000s of players on the server to get full experience. i don't think i saw more than 10-20 ppl at once in this game.

hmmm yeah, but I am still hoping it has some kind of a decent single player campaign, chances are getting slimmer by the day I guess...
When they themselves aren't even confident enough in their game to have reviews up before launch, then i see no reason for me to trust them with my money.
