They are clearly talking about MMO Borderlands Smug

Would not be surprised if they turned it into a MMO.
I imagine (and want) something more like Diablo 3. The "normal" Borderlands but online (official servers), with more focus in coop/multiplayer.

Borderlands.2.MULTi8-PLAZA just got out. It says: "Game is updated to the latest version (1.8.3)."

Game versions look a bit different here: http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_borderlands_2.shtml

Is there some explanation?

"patch version" vs. "game version" that is.
On the multiplayer menu, that the latter you'll see, which is v1.8.3 as of today.
But there's at least one more patch coming in an undetermined future.

i played borderlands 2 almost 2 years ago, and remembered that game was easy then, for some reason i did not finished the game then, so i did install it again but now with latest patch 1.8.2, game is way to hard then before 2 years ago, it was fine to play until that city dismantled from earth, i'm lvl 22 and have the best gear and guns available and i keep dying a lot, enemies lvl 19-20 firing just 3 or 4 hits can totally disable my shields, and i have 1750 shield and 1200 hp, like they forcing co op play to be easier, i just hope that borderlands pre sequel wil not be hard as b2.

EDIT: Forgot to mension that i do all the sidequests first before main quest, still hard.

How do you know you have best guns available, it is all RNG. Normally the game becomes hard for me when I just don't have the gun that fits my build the best and I only been getting decent guns. That screws me over a few times when leveling. So I'm just curious if you really do have the best gear at level 22.

i did all sidequests till lvl 22, and i did inspect almost all of elemental weapons and gear, but what is weird that i remember that in first bandit slaughter arena i easily came to round 4-5 , now i can't finish round 1, and i mean i can't finish wave 2 in round 1. I really started to wonder is there maybe some copy protection over this game being to hard then before.

EDIT: and it is pain in the ass to mark/shoot almost every enemy with slag then swap to high damage weapon to kill them quick.

Using slag isn't necessary most of the time in normal mode, if you're struggling at your level already, something is very wrong with either your build (hard to see how that could be fucked up so early, though) or your weapons.

Or your skills. Razz

Yeah, the first difficulty should be pretty easy. A boss here and there might put a fight, but non-boss enemies shouldn't be a problem.

Imo, don't bother with elementals too much on normal. Just go for straight DPS and accuracy. Any weapon you find is going to be quickly replaced anyways. It's the next difficulty and beyond that your build and weapon specialty really matter.

Man, with all of this talk about Borderlands and the pre-sequel coming out, I'm so tempted to replay Borderlands 2 with Krieg (who I never really used but really wanted to). Except I know, deep down, after a few hours I'm going to feel the grind. I've never been able to play through a Borderlands more than once.

Yeah.. we should rely on MS to continue its monopoly act, save gaming and cram DirectX crippled exclusive games up our ass forever. Bring on Windows 9 with forced MS live account, power of the cloud and a new month to month licensing regime.

Krieg's a lot of fun, but I wouldn't recommend him for solo play (at least not a Mania build). Silence the Voices is an idiotic talent, but also a must have and can really screw you over if you're not playing co-op.

One way to look at other OSs for gaming is that they keep MS from pulling off the shit you described. Right now they're not a real threat to Windows, but if things get ridiculous, they could become one... it's a safety break preventing MS from doing whatever they please and getting away with it.

Fortunately there's also the Love Thumper and Rough Rider, both are great for melee Krieg.

Yeah, the rough rider is a must anyway for high/op levels and somehow easier to get.

Anyone know how to change my playthrough mode from normal to true vault hunter mode but keeping my mission progress? I beat the main story, most of the side quests and pirate DLC. I want to continue playing in TVHM and not from the beginning. I know there is Gibbed save editor but I need some kind of tutorial, changing one line doesn't work Very Happy
