Can some people, who played the game already, answer me this:

- Are there defense missions inside your base? I.e. in other UFO games the aliens would sometimes attack one of your bases. The missions played insider your own bases, with all those departments you actually built there.

- Can you assault their bases if you discover one?

- Will you visit their homworld like in the other UFO games?

I think so. People in the game forum seem to talk a lot about having their territories overrun.

Yes. And because the game involves a 'risk' conquer-the-world element to it, where there are other NPC factions. You can initiate your own missions to take over their territory, if you want.

Don't think so. Although I haven't seen any end of game spoilers for, I think much of the end-game revolves around an event where 'something' comes to you.

Tried the demo of this last night. The improvements they've made to the global map, bases, etc. in the strategic part of the game are great. As I expected though, the tactical game is just terrible, at least as far as what's included in the demo is concerned. Seems like the same zero-strategy gameplay as Aftermath.

Maybe it's just the demo too, but the sound seemed buggy to me. Voices worked ok, but guns make no sound whatsoever.

I didnt play the game and did not hear any "end of game story" but after reading the story of the game from the official web site, I can clearly see that at the end of the game, the good aliens will come to help to player. Also it is clear, this is only the second chapter of the "ufo" story.

İf this game will be succesfull, cenega will relase the third chapter that focus on assult to home planet of the "bad ass aliens" who threat the peacefull galaxy and good aliens with a "galaxykiller-super-weapon"

And, this game must be on the top of the "most wanted" lists. at last, it is UFO. millons of people have played it. Icant belive that groups will not work on it...

Yes, it's very easy to play the demo with zero strategy, and I agree with your depiction of Aftermath -- sometimes it played like an RTS, but from what I've read on the official forums combat is much more tactical. There's stealth, and from what I've read, enemy snipers can take you out with 1 shot, so you have to think before moving your people around.
