Yes, he's a good crosser; meaning he has the skill to get to good crossing positions often and deliver quality byline passes. He can mix it up and attack the goal directly as well which makes him less predictable. He works hard in every game. World class-descriptors get thrown around a lot, but he's truly up there, in my opinion.

Seems like Florentino rejected the offer and refused to negotiate with the Catalans. It's probably gonna be MU like EternalBlueScreen mentioned, I think. Not many teams in the world can afford such a top player, so the options are limited anyway.

Spanish league needed that. Even though several of their teams have generally very good level in the european context, the tournament was still dominated by only 2 teams for many years. Now it's more of a triumvirate, similar to the golden age of Deportivo La Coruña with Bebeto and company.

The more competitors, the better. Even more if they're building up a good part from their own and carefully spend their cash. Atl. Madrid is no unknown name, but the trend seems to go to a much diverse league situation in most football countries.

Can't believe after all those years I can still remember some of those matches they took the footage from.
Yup, compared to those days my interest in football is considerably lower.

What an ending to Malaga-Athletico B. 2 red cards, goal by goalkeeper that should've counted but didnt, and a clear penalty not given. Very weird. Ref is a very experienced guy too.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Didn't see the first goal yet, but I'm glad we got Bellarabi back in the team.

I wonder if United are gonna get Vidal aswell. (at least we'll be sad together Ixi) |
Yeah, that sucks for you..won't be easy to replace him.
As for Vidal, I think he'll likely stay at this point, because apparently the wife also refused lo leave. Though truth to be told, ManU would really need a proper central midfielder these days

I don't understand. Any team can lose to Stoke on a rainy day. Any team can lose points or draw to any of the teams in the Premiership. It is -way- too soon to say that a team is fundamentally incapable on the basis of two games, of which they've only lost 1.
There are tons of games and all the teams will lose points. Some teams will lose points because they play terrible, others will lose because they were unlucky, it doesn't matter, but we all know points will be lost. Manchester City and Chelsea will lose points to teams "lesser" than them on paper.
Yes, Di Maria will be a huge boost to them, he would be to any team. I think it is more a matter of getting back to the winning ways after Moyes, let the squad galvanize and create synergy more so than buying 10 new players like Liverpool have done this window and Tottenham did last season. Tottenham looks dangerous this season, the new players have settled. Di Maria and someone else preferably in defense will help Manchester United immensely.
Balotelli. I believe Liverpool is naive and it will be a lot of entertainment and laughs to be had, but he won't become a team-player while at Liverpool. I just can't see it happening.
TLDR; Too soon to judge a squad. Transfer window is still open. All teams will lose points during the season.
