-x64 is enough, -dx11 isnt needed anymore i think as i should launch dx11 mode per default. you can see that in the version number in main menu, x64 or x86 build too

They really need to make light affect the windshield / dashboard and whatnot. DC and i think even Forza are doing a marvelous job at this.

paxsali, epic video and thanks so much for including your specs and settings in the description. At least I know what to set it to if I want it to look that good.
And just another quick one, one of your videos, I believe is a night race with a thunderstorm (pretty sure it was on your playlist) and the car gets visible rain drops while the road starts to glisten, but the windshield doesn't get wet at all.
Is that a precautionary thing because it doesn't have wiper blades, or just a sign of it being an early build?
And yeah, I realise you're not a dev. I'm just hoping you might know.
Again, thanks for that video. Very entertaining

What?

Or you could just get a DisplayPort 1.3 monitor once they're out (few months from now), that support Adaptive Sync and thus AMD's FreeSync, most likely Nvidia will support it via G-Sync. Fuck the vendor lockin.
All the G-Sync monitors out now (all 2 of them..or is it 3?) are fucking crap anyway.

No, it doesn't. Why would it?
It doesn't use 3DVision/Surround or HD3D/Eyefinity. That's part of their point, it doesn't matter whether you have Nvidia, AMD or Intel.
Quote: | Also, that with the monitors in good news. But what kind of output ports would you need on your gfx card? |
DisplayPort, which any mid-/high-end videocard from the last 4 years has.
That and the software support. Like I said, Nvidia haven't said anything yet, but so far G-Sync hasn't taken off at all and none of the big monitor manufacturers (no, Asus isn't big) are on-board with it because they are forced to use Nvidia's display controller then. Adaptive Sync in DisplayPort does things almost exactly like G-Sync and Nvidia in fact most likely leverage the same elements to make G-Sync work. I just can't imagine them _not_ supporting Adaptive Sync as part of G-Sync.

I just don't like all the incorrect information around GPUs. Things such as the above are just silly misconceptions.
