Damn creatures. They creep me the fuck out. I'm not really all that afraid, but they are vicious looking and are never up to any good. Sit quietly in the room and see something dangling infront of the tv, and as i approach i notice it's spider web, and there is a huge spider (by norwegian standards) hanging while spinning like a madman in the middle of the doorway to my bedroom. Such freak encounters have happened twice already this year, and i get shivers thinking how it would feel just walking into this shit if i woke up to take a piss during the night.
Tried crushing it, but luckily for it it slipped between the papers and probably scurried off to plan it's next freak encounter with me. The fact that they also bite which is also poisonous is proof enough for me that spiders are truly evil creatures...

When i was living at my birthplace once during a night something just fell on my head. I quickly brushed my head as hard as i could and 10 +/- seconds later after i saw a spider climbing up the wall. Fuck these creatures.
The spider i found was spinning some small ball of web which i guess might be eggs?! Tried murdering it twice, but after first time it hurried up to the ball as fast as it could and restarted spinning, and failed yet again. Luck is strong in this one. Well, i can't find shit :/ Vacuumed around the area, but my cleaner is unfortunately ridiculously weak so i hope i won't be housing a large amount of these devils in the near future.

Not harmless. The type of spiders i've encountered (which i've seen easily from across the room because of their size) are cave/basement spiders.

Funny thing though is that wiki says the bite is negligible and barely pierces the skin, while other places describe it as painful and gives you a numbing feeling for approx 2 hours. Fuck these creatures.

I don't mind the little house spiders like the ones that Bob posted, but the big hairy ones? They belong to the land of the nope.

They don't look hairy. They are large and move incredibly fast. The first encounter i had the lights turned off with only the light from the TV and saw something moving with my side vision and when i looked at it i didn't know what the fuck i was looking at. Looked like a small swarm, but then suddenly i saw that it was a huge spider spinning across the living room at an incredible speed. That shook me to the very core. I did do my duty though and squashed it.
These spiders like it dark, and unfortunately i do too. Probably the reason i keep seeing them unguarded out in the open.

Touch a spider and what will it do? Run like fuck!, and fast. You will have to be quick to catch the fucker Well, its fast, and it should be, hell, it has more running legs than us But, it is more scared of you than you are with it, also, you are a millions times bigger than it lol, so no, you have nothing to fear lol, unless it's of the killer kind, which is highly unlikely
Also, try this...lol
Catch it, and cusp your hands to trap it, amazing feeling it running around in there eh? Now suddenly shake your hands (cusped lol) quickly look and its taken its defensive position, as in rolled up in a ball , now make the smallest opening in your cusped hands, and watch it squeeze out of that smallest of gaps, then let it run to hide

Let's test it by putting you in a closed room with a tiger, son.

Spiders are ok.
Mosquito's are not, I'd kill them all if I could

These are the biggest ones that hang around here, not very big really (5-6cm max), but still enough to make me a bit
(this fella was desperately climbing my bedroom window)
(this one had night goggles, ready to start its secret infiltration Panther mission)
