If I enter cracked servers will authorization go faster? atm its like 5+ mins lol.
Is there a list of crackes servers yet?

Dude, get a faster internet connection if the auth takes too long....bout the only way ur gunna solve the problem |

When you hit alt+enter, did you move outside the quake 4 window? I prefer to move my mouse cursor to the task bar. It will connect instantly

no things in hosts (if u had and del, dont forget to reboot!), vaseline patch overwrite quake4.exe, type in any key, start q4 and join one server in Game Browser and wait 15 sec. for authorization.
