I first came to check NFO database. But then I was drawn to forum, since that was first place I could talk freely about warez without being constantly judged.

Captain_Cox was a great contributor indeed.
Syco appears here and there, but he also doesn't post that much...

When max Payne came out. My buddy downloaded it for me and then came to this forum to brag about it. At the time I was creating an online personality and from Kauffman addiction it became too unstable lol. Had 3 forums at the time. A dod forum where I was the hs slut. Another dod forum where we modded avalanche and it became insanely popular thanks to my ideas. But they took credit for all the map coding . The server is still popular to this day. Lol. And this became an outlet for creativity. The good people here kept me from leaving. \o/ other communities moved on now I'm just a normal shlob with a deep connection with everyone here. I miss plenty of the assholes in the early days. They kept the place entertaining and made me question my creativity. But as you grow and realize the cultural differences and humour everywhere else is different and sometimes unified by stupidity. But it's the whole diversity of cultures where you can appreciate the ideas/ideals/opinions/humour/etc of others is what makes this place special.
You look at big big big communities that are flooded with the same cultures and foreigners trying to become one with the majority. It's horrible. This place here is proof that there is both bad and evil in the world and at the same time the good is far stronger. A true community this is. Sadly we have become like the border officer in papers please. Once the immigrants pass through our hell they become a true part of this community. Some are just suicide bombers/terrorists/pimp but the officers here take care of them in a 'timely' fashion.
I came for the Lolz I stayed for the family.

I got sick of the regulars at iSONEWS and no longer wanted to mod there. Spoke to nforce admins and convinced them that I was nicer than the average orange-land-douche-bag. As for date? Hmm I have no idea how to find that out - but it was a long time ago - like 13 years maybe?

I visited the first time soon after the release of Alone in the Dark 4 because someone somewhere said "dem guys at Nforce know how to get it running,i`m sure".So i lurked the topic and had to realise that we all are fucking then.
Forgot about it until Fallout 3 came out.No idea how but i somehow ended up in an IRC room with people bragging about cracking it etc etc, some people mentioned Nforce/the Hump again and i lurked again for a while (never bothered to register).
Some day i said "fuck it" and made an account, this place is the place i visit the most anyway so why not

Cox got business and family things to take care of then. His Facebook is absent. He had a sweet job and good looks.

So nearly everyone here has had some history with isonews.
It's like the bad step father we all escaped and tried to forget.

Wow alot of isonews terrorists here.... tsk tsk lol that place was for midget porn and flaming... You couldnt even ask a question or discuss anything.. it was just absolute and pure hatred and ownage... Sometimes I would read a thread and get a headache.
As to how I got here... wow... I don't even know... Definitely way before the data base crash... I think a Google search of some kind must have brought me here for the NFOs sometimes in 2002 or so... Didn't know too much of anything but quickly got up and running with top sites and the whole MIRC stuff... soon I started posting in the forums.
Then I became the king of posts... I think with 3000 or so posts poeple were saying how I was spamming the forums or I had no life? lol how things have changed... Because I was one of the most active posters I suddenly got to be a mod... I don't even know how, I think one day MRT or someone from the staff is like here you're it now.... I think all this was just after the databse crash though...
fuck my memory is so fuzzy... why can't I remember any details... fml Im old

I have no idea when I registered..2001ish? Back when astalavista was around for software random cracks (not altavista) and IRC DCC bots with ratios was the version of torrents today.
I found the site to get NFO files, because of the people on IRC that would have the files but no nfo with them. After a few months I realized it had a forum area on here..LOL. Started reading around and realized it wasn't full of the idiots like most forums.
This is the only site I goto with a forum I participate in to any mentionable degree. I think I went like 5 years and only had 50 posts or so..until nhimermin, or whatever his name was, got me arguing with him.
But you guys are like family to me now, distant cousin annoying family!
And I say family because I could see if we had some kinda get together, we'd all show up excited to see each other, be genuinely nice to each other, but then talk crap about each other in the nicest way to the others..like a family reunion.

I'm fairly close to Canada, I've often thought of taking a trip up there and meeting Waldo and Mad Maxx.
There was a member of another piracy forum I was a member of that happened to have a conference in a city next door to me so I drove over to meet him, ended up having a damn blast.
