I enjoyed Doom 3 as well. Yeah, not as good as Doom 1/2

Didn't Werelds already explain that IDTech 6 is built on IDTech 5?

No, 5 is "built on" 4. "Built on" is an exaggeration, as it is to T4 what UE3.5 is to UE3, but less impressive

UE in right and straight hands can do wonders with lighting.

Yeah, and plotting you're course through the level based on health pack and item location. Agree, there was a lot of thought needed to play doom.

I like how people say its a shame doom3 isnt what it's alpha was.... while alpha doom3 was even more atmospheric and slower

Funny that you mentioned that. Resource-management in Dead Space games was something people criticized as a bad thing.

Who? Ammo and health scarceness was what made DS great.

They werent allowed to film or take pictures of the Doom (4) video, right?
However, why didn't nobody "draw" some image of the footage to give us a vague, but basic idea of the style of game/weapons/enemies?
From the top of their memory...
id cant forbid that, unless everyone in the room specifically signed a NDA not to tell anything at all... right? |
because

Well if they can't draw it maybe they can act it out under the fair use policy!

Remember the same secrecy and ARG games with Boom 3? Remember how in the end it all looked absolutely pathetic in the light of "awesome" game we've got? Haha. I bet it will be the same here. All this NDA and limitations is for one reason - to artificially inflate hype and interest around Doom 4, because they perfectly know the game itself again turned out too shitty to do it on its own.
Classy. Same old shit again and again.
