I actually liked Rise of the Triad  . Rough shooter, but at least it had dat old-school feel. The only "problems" for me were the lack of quicksave and the poor optimization, but as far as I know the former has been added later and the various patches have managed to improve the performance a bit.

Decent story for ROA, buggy sometimes, but nothing gamebreaking. No replayability. Still, for 1$, i'd consider a playthrough. Had a decent fun while playing the isodemo.

Yes, in God's name prevent people from buying games instead of pirating them. Its like a crusade in an attempt to force people to consider buying at a high price, or pirating. Guide people away from legal video game stores and over to the shady back alleys.
