This started happening recently.. All these red dots over my screen..

Anyone got idea what this could be?!

Gpu failure or cable/display failure.
reconnect all cables. Then check gpu or cobbect pc to tv to see if corruption occurs There too

Definately looks like GPU problem, could be monitor aswell. Test out that GPU with same port on a different monitor (TV or something). If same red dots persists, then its for sure the GPU.

Seems it was the shitty DVI->HDMI cable that came with this new Asus monitor.
Time to bitch and moan at them.

yeah had this on my old screen too. Was simply a bad cable, nothing else.

@Breezer_ good job on saying "definitely the gpu" lol. Great advice there. Nice to help, but saying it had to be the gpu or monitor, without having a clue ... not much help Smile
