Only in the description for the perk, I forgot the exact words but something along the lines of it adding +2 perception for the ability to detect traps, it might have been a bit poorly worded come to think of it. Smile

If you mean adding the backer code (So far it seems to be just for the bottle message on the beach at the start of the game thanking you for backing the game.) then yes you have to create a new profile to be able to add the code to it.

For the DLC items (Trunks and Goblet.) they are added to your inventory after loading a existing game so no need to start over for those. Smile

I got three crashes in a row, always as I attempted to send item to homestead straight from chest loot window...

Tolanri you are using ranger class? Do you enjoy it at higher levels? Since in town you can add mage and melee warrior to your team I`m thinking about choosing mage (opposite elements) and ranger as main characters.

Hi everyone,

Our latest (small) update brings you the following fixes:
- Crash fix for send to homestead from a container
- Fixed encumbered being spammed when dead
- Fixed crash while saving during a SurfaceGrowAction (this should fix any issues with crashing when going into the tunnel under the graveyard in Cyseal for example)

We are currently working on finding the causes for more critical issues.

To those still having issues, thank you for your patience. We are trying to weed out the most important issues as soon as possible.

If you still have trouble playing the game, do not hesitate to contact us!

I like it, yeah...It does decent damage after I got that legendary bow, but I see it more like utility class than pure damage dealer, especially with having two charms and silence I think it's worth a place in any group.

My other party members are geo/fire (with 1 point in water for free heal), air/water (Jahan) and finally Madora (who steamrolls almost everything when she gets to enemy and gets buffed by my ranger and mages). It works pretty well...

I have a ranger with marksman and geomancy, he's pretty great. I use him as a buff guy with occasional damage though. His multiple enemy hits are very good.

I'm not sure I fully understand staffs. The staff you equip only has effect on the one spell right? It seem pretty lackluster to me. My mage with the staff of pergamon does 25 damage or so.

make sure the char speaking to cecil has the staff.

Its the same with any rpg, more major characters have more elaborate dialogues, while generic ones have default texts about usual stuff. You cant write unique dialogues for every npc, and thats fine - I preffer it this way instead of spending hours in town seeing if I can get anything worth wile from every single npc. And usually its done in the way that those default npcs dont have their unique name, just a title like citizen or legionnaire.

Except that a lot of named NPCs still have generic responses.

The right way to do it is as follows:

- no-name NPCs don't open a dialogue window but just quip single (unique) lines (see Baldur's Gate II)

- named NPCs have unique dialogue

- group NPCs (think guards, sailors, news boys, etc.) have standard responses - with guards they can show you the way, news boys will repeat recent events, etc. these are shared among every NPC inside a group.

THAT is the only "true" way to do it. Larian does the following:

- no-name NPCs have quite a big dialogue window
- most named NPCs have exactly the same dialogue window
- some named NPCs have the exact same dialogue window BUT with one or two unique lines.
- some named NPCs have only unique lines

This is confusing as hell and it's possible to miss a unique line this way not to mention that a named NPC no longer means "oh he or she is important".

Does fire not melt ice where you're from? Very Happy

It escapes me why Larian seems to think that Poison is the optimal element to use against Ice instead of Fire. Fire and Ice should be equally (maximally damaging) against each other - this isn't the case in this game for some reason.

Actually, fire is not potent against ice just as ice is not potent against fire. Water and fire, yes, ice and fire, no. Ice can't be set on fire for obvious reasons and that's the main thing - if you had a flamethrower spell, I'm sure it would be more effective Wink.

Ice--->Melted By Fire (technically destroyed - it's no longer ice)-->Melt Turns to Water ---> Water Damages Fire (putting it out) in equal measure.

That's my train of thought for Ice Elemental vs. Fire Elemental / Ice vs. Fire. Apparently it's no good - makes perfect sense to me though, so fuck it! Very Happy
