The problem with creationists is that they think the world is at most a dozen thousand years old ( with 6000 the most common). Of course they think it's impossible, when they base their world view on fairy tales.
Ask an evolutionary biologist who specialise in the immune system and he/she will talk your ears off with information on how it evolved.
