disagree. Speaking of how the extra time panned out the USA pressured, and by 'took you to the line' I meant they battered the Belgians from 2:1 onwards.

Well the question is: is 15 minutes more important than the previous 105 minutes?
Don't get me wrong, USA played well and Howard was exceptional, but it's a bit too far to say they were unlucky when you see stats like: 17 shots on target by the Belgians and 13 misses (and from those a lot were close misses).

We also had 15/20 minutes that they couldn't go forward at all anymore. But...
Usually when you have an epic ending like that, what most people retain is those last battles.
However, USA could have stolen the win just before time, so yeah you can say unlucky for that.

If USA would have won I wouldn't say they are the right ones to go through, but after a play like that I wouldn't feel comfortable to state they didn't deserve it at all.

Any who I still distance from the opinions like: skx7 That is just stupidity or like he says: being drunk

Yeah, unlucky not to equalise. Another factor is Belgium are clearly the better team, so for the USA to run it close; they get a fully deserved skewed perspective from me

Schweinsteiger-Khedira
Müller-Kroos-Özil
Klose

Very Happy

Very interesting starting line-ups Smile

France plays much better with Griezmann on the field to be honest. And on the other hand, Miroslav Klose is gonna be a headache for their defense Very Happy

It was a foul, the player who scored was pushing the defender, who was covering him, with his forearm. This is football, not wrestling. That's why I don't watch football anymore. It became a farce.

The absence of the usually higher amount of posts speaks for itself

Disputed game as expected but rather disappointing, considering I was expecting more emotions. Mostly due to France's imprecisions all match long. Deserved win for Germany, anyway.

EDIT: Great stop there by Neuer though Razz
