They do not respawn because every encounter was hand placed.

Don't worry, there's enough xp to go around.

Would be nice to be suprised from time to time with random attack or pack of mobs, not for grinding purposes but just for immersions sake, like random abushes in BG when you rest/travel to other areas, or some smaller wildlife/lesser mob packs.

Btw can anyone comment about quality of content in areas after that initial city?

How does Arhu's controller work? Confused

I tried all combination but it doesn't do anything.

Arhu has the book in his room on a desk about how to use the contoller. Not hidden or anything, just on top of the desk.

I wouldn't mind a respawning mobs mod with some custom settings available altering the main campaign tbh

The less you know of this game, the more fun it is. I really love that "fun" is the main concept here. I like the little surprises.

Hello all,

We just updated the game to version 1.0.51.

+Fixes for German/French
+Fixed crash on talking to summoned pet (KS reward)
+Optimised terrain textures so they take less memory
+Modified loading code for 32 bit systems.

About the Global Chat: We switched it off for now as there was just a bit too much profanity and insulting, and while we have good hopes that it may get better if people read this this[www.gutenberg.org], we'll also install some proper moderation tools & processes. Once that's done, we'll switch it on again.

Note for 32 bit users: The problems you can experience are related to the game running out of memory which can be remedied by lowering the quality settings. We are working on optimising memory usage and will soon have a number of fixes for this. Until then, we recommend setting your texture quality to lowest. We know this is not cool, but solutions are on their way.

Was to be expected that the chat system would be abused really. Razz

In the beginning, people used it to ask for hints. Not that I'd ever use it for that or recommend anyone to do so.

It was obviously just going to turn into Barrens chat, though.

@Mister_s

easier to find players to play with if you don't have any friends playing it?

ask for help and whatever..

if done properly it could be a nice feature.

As long as the threads don't go "Just downed *insert boss*" then getting replies like "herp derp, you only did it on medium or easy you pussy, play it on hardest"

Well said and absolutely agreed <3 I really want to get stuck into this when I get home but I'm still worried about the missing content and want to wait for everything to be finished and out first... though knowing me, I wont be able to resist grinhurt

Two companions had to be cut but they will be added back in a future update (Could be more but I think they said there was at least two.) and the big dungeon (Wherever it is.) had a few floors cut out but those could either be patched in or added via mods.

Finally a few more variations of the companion dialog AI will be added.
(For now they are either always-agree/loyal or random/50-50)

A lot of them, starting from dynamic day-night cycle and ending with KS backer in-game content. it is quite a big list.

Ok, i noticed this yesterday but i've stuck with it, but still pisses me off to no end. I selected loyal ai, but somehow that has been turned off and i have to roleplay dialogue choices. Must have happened after an update or something. Is there any ingame way of setting companion ai?

This game has so much content, it's unbelievable. Most of it isn't not even filler, it fits the gameworld. You should talk to every named NPC, even to animals. These games are the reason why I love gaming. I really hope they didn't put all of their energy in the town, that'd be a big shame. Larian skyrocketed to my top 3 dev list.

Am I correct in assuming promising the thing Jahan wants will bite me in the ass later on?

Yeah that's what I'm worried about also. There's so much content in the town, I am worried most of the game content is actually in the town Sad I guess modern games made me a cynic, I keep expecting the game will turn shit.
