The only problem i have with the game is the framerate Sad

I'm playing coop with a friend and i always have 60 fps, well almost all the time.

Sometimes it drops down to 30, and kinda stays locked at 30 and then rises up to 60 again, maybe 15-30 sec later.

I have lowered almost everything but the resolution. Anyone else noticing this drop in fps?

Or do my comp need an upgrade?

Intel i5 2500k 3,8 GHZ

4GB Ram

Geforce GTX 560 (1GB)

The game is installed on SSD.

Switching between 30 and 60 fps sounds like a vsync issue, try disabling it.

Love the game so far. Gonna buy some time soon.
Anyways - possible to finish the game with 1 char only? I can see some "perk" for it. But is it really possible?

Nope, you start the game with 2 chars, and while you can unlink the characters, the other will still travel with you as you change areas etc. Of course you could have the other character stay out of combat, or have him/her killed. But you cannot start the game with just one char.

No you can't separate from your partner, lone wolf however disables the ability to have a companion or henchman so you can use that but you are stuck with two player characters.
(Theoretically the four-player mod could be changed to a one-player mod but I have a feeling it would break the game.)

EDIT: Was answered.
(And yeah obviously a one player mod would need a greater effort than just changing the player count, there are various situations where you need two players although I guess you could take a companion with you.)

So, has there been any word of opening the base fame for modding yet? I know it's only been a day since launch but be damned with logic! Very Happy I'm spoiled by the fact that SRR was open from the start, allowing you to mod and tweak the base campaign, now I want the same for DOS too. I want to start playing when Raistlin perk has been renamed and you can create gold skin/hourglass eyes; gonna get my Caramon + Raistlin duo on \o/

Absolutely awesome game, but runs like shit due to a bug which forces Intel HD Shit Graphics as primary on my laptop (does not use nvidia GPU even when forced to the profile). Diablo 3 had this same problem for long time until it got fixed. At holiday trip now, would be awesome to get fix for this :>

Still running around in the first city after about 5 hours :O

But stealing is indeed easy mode Sad
Can steal everything, and if a NPC is watching you, just speak to him with your other char to turn him around

well that kinda is realistic isnt it? Wink also you cant steal everything from everyone if your pickpocket is on level 1. that said, from what i`ve seen the economy is based on stealing, if you wanna get rich you have to steal/sell those items like crazy Very Happy

Being in an age of super linear questing i can't help but wonder if the murder quest is 100% in the city or if we're required to venture outside the city to solve it. Currently i'm looking for the body.

That would be the CE content, it should have come yesterday but it seems they fixed something else with it so if you didn't have it then it should be downloaded now.
(It's a separate folder in the main folder of the game which contains a artbook and several storyboard images - both contain big spoilers - plus a soundtrack.)

(DLC should also work now for you if it didn't work before.)

It might:

- Fixed: Crashes on saving
- Fixed: Dialogs locking up when talking to certain npcs with two players
- Fixed: Extremely big pool of blood
- Fixed: Cloud artefacts
- Fixed: Crash during unlearning active skills
- Fixed: Steam cloud saving (the Steam from Valve that is, the Steam cloud in game was already working Smile )
- Fixed: German and French translation artefacts. You still need to manually activate the subtitles in the options screen. We'll make it automatic on the next update.
- Fixed: Corruption caused by video playback on Mac

Really? What kind of stats do you have? I heard the game runs much better on AMD Gpu's.

Yeah, I see why they did it this way but it's just so annoying and counter-intuitive.

You can right click, anyway its getting little bit annoying when you have 4 chars in your team. That + you cant equip item on other character simply by dragging it from one char inventory to the other char item slot, you need to place it in his/her inventory 1st.

@no9999 @Sauronich Thanks, found it.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
