yes, that's weird I know. Even the guys at the german "motortalk" forum said that it's weird, but must be some kinda "special edition" or the guy who was the first owner of the car wanted VW to make it like that. (I forgot to mention to you guys that we're the 2nd owners, we bought it in 2006, you can see it on the website, but it's in german xD)
@chiv : oh ok xD

Hmm, to be honest. Most of them look like ass and don't even have the pre-heating (set a time on when you want the car to heat itself and melt the ice/snow from the car by itself) or the radio plus soundsystem.
so I guess 7k~7300k should be fine to ask.

Also, I don't know if it works like here, but usually you get a lot of calls in the first few days if the price is good, so if you don't get much interest in the first week you should probably lower the price a bit...

And people tend to choose model over year
I would buy myself another AZLK 2141
or VAZ 2103
or VAZ 24-34
or BMW E30 M3
or Lotus Omega

you are ridiculous
only the stock auxilary heater costs about 1000 euro
I love guys that think all cars with the same frame and engine cost the same..
@Kurwa you shouldn't have put the text as a picture, it can't be translated this way

wow you are horrible at this car thing, aren't you? just because new original heater is 1000 euro (like you claim) doesn't mean it should increase 10 year old car's value by 1000 euros.
one must be absolutely insane to pay 7000+ euros for a 10 year old golf

of course
in 2011 I bought my 2007 polo for 10k eur
all my collegues said "you're crazy! you could buy an awesome bmw for that money!"
and surely enough - a collegue actually bought a 200* E36 325-ish with a robotic?-something transmission, leather interior and 8 speakers
now I'm driving my car whenever and wherever, because it eats 5/100 and my tax is 25eur a year
he rarely uses his car, because it eats 13-15/100, his tax is 150eur a year, has double my insurance costs and fears for his transmission, because if it breaks, the repair will cost the same as the car..
so yes, for every car there is at least one stupid buyer

Mine was 8 years old and I paid 11 grand for it (got 2250 back for my 206). 2004 2.0 FSI Sportline (meaning pretty much all options except parking sensors and heated seats) with 78k on the clock. Perfectly normal price for a car like that around here; same car you can now find for around 8.5k at best.
TDIs are a little less desirable here in NL because the Dutch government has insane taxes on diesel cars. Road tax is literally twice as high; the 2.0 TDI instead of my 2.0 FSI is 300 EUR/yr in road tax instead of the 150 I pay. Cheapest I can find? http://www.autotrack.nl/tweedehands/volkswagen/golf/11779680 - 114k on the clock and it's still almost 7 grand. In Germany that's not the case to such extremes though, so a TDI will fetch a slightly higher price there.
Just because they're cheaper where you live, doesn't mean that's the case everywhere. Mchart used to keep forgetting that too, always assuming US prices. Same goes for petrol prices: http://www.fuel-prices-europe.info/index.php?sort=4 - €1.86 here. Even Belgium and Germany are usually around 20 cents cheaper, but not the 60 cents like Poland for example.

How fast do you need the money, is the real question?

Would be great if I could have the money by August. The payment for my new car starts on the 1st August 2014.
But it doesn't really matter. I have the money for my new car already, but the cash from the Golf would be useful.

Here we're talking about paying 10k for a 10 year old car.... And i fail to see your point. If he bought a bmw (older one at that), he should know it costs more for upkeep...

The sooner you need it, the sooner you'll have to lower that price point to compromise
Should have started the sale sooner, kurwa!
