Bought this for £14 at simplycdkeys.com Very Happy

Forget the Origin overpriced BS from EA store.

Just got my key today and it's just waiting to be unlocked now Smile

I use Flyvpn Pey. Just dl the client and use the trial username and pass.

I start the vpn, start the game then disconnect from vpn and carry on playing.

You need to use the vpn again every time u want to play though.

Yeah Pey been playing it since yesterday.

As long as the game has started you can disconnect the VPN.

No trouble whatsoever. Runs smooth for me. I was surprised as it runs on the Frostbite 3 engine.

Love the game. So much fun Smile

I'm still worried that this will turn into a pay to win kind of game with micro-transactions. Sad

Nah u get enough coins in game to buy any of the card packs.

You can buy coins with real money but that's just for the impatient, lazy or more money that sense people.

If you don't put some effort into unlocking classes and upgrades what's the point in playing? Might as well get someone else to play for you while you're at it Smile

It depends on how easy/fast you unlock these packs. Also just the thought of micro-transactions in a game you already paid for just does my head in, doesn't matter if it's optional or not.
Because what's stopping the devs/EA from changing later on how quick/easy you get these packs to ensure that the packs sell?
It's overall a good idea for them but much less so for you/me.

I played it on another PC and it worked the first time, then I had the fps bug. Restarted and it´s working fine again, weird.

Anyway, some shots here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.902937586389489.1073742013.592697674080150&type=1

It costs u$s 18 dollars here. It´s well worth the money for that price imo.

It´s a fun team-based TPS alternative, more entertaining than Loadout for sure.

Did any of you know that this will be 3rd person shooter?? I am speechless...I thought this will be like first game and second for Android. Who needs another generic multyplayer shooter .

Pretty much anyone knew about that

12vs12, nice map design and decent gfx, balanced classes and lots of customization options. As I said, it´s just another alternative, and it´s pretty fun. Abilities and weapons are quite original too.

There aren´t many decent TPS shooters around afaik. As a Q3A/UT, Loadout bored me about a couple of weeks. I used to played Fall of Cybertron but as well as the WOF, it died after 2 or 3 months. Dont know if people keep playing it.

This isn't Plants vs Zombies 2. That's still coming to PC.

This is just an offshoot from the PvZ franchise. Pretty good team based shooter.

It's online only game. There will be no release.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

i watched some game play videos, and it seems like a fun game, it's like they took battlefield and morphed it into PVZ setting.....lots of cool ideas too on top of the bf formula they're using , definitely more original than hardline is Cool Face

Depends where you are located.

I got it from simplycdkeys for £14 which it still is at.

I love the game myself but solo it's the normal thing. PUGs don't work well together Razz

I'm surprised it gets so little coverage too.

I guess the "hardcore" CoD and Battlefield players see the cutesy, cartoon graphics and think it's for kids.

But those plants are mean SoBs and the zombies are even worse Razz

Love the game so far and I still have tons of items and customisations as well as sub-classes to unlock Smile

Just watched some gameplay videos and it seems indeed pretty fun!

I have some questions:

1) Is there demo/trial?

2) What would be the lowest price to get this?

3) Do the things you unlock in co-op carry over to the competive modes?

4) Are the competive modes like Titanfall? Meaning there are running around ai-controlled enemies?

1) no demo

2) i don't know

3) things you do in coop also earn coins, they can be used to buy packs. These packs unlocks stuff that can be used in every mode.

4) Yes, there is AI controlled enemies. Plants can summon other AI plants like small turrets for defense. Zombies can summon other AI zombies for offense. But unlike titanfall, it is easy to spot the difference and also more real players (24vs24)
