Here we go..
Watch Dogs "E3 2012" mod can have damaging effect on gameplay, says Ubisoft
Quote: | “The dev team is completely dedicated to getting the most out of each platform, so the notion that we would actively downgrade quality is contrary to everything we’ve set out to achieve,” a Ubisoft spokesperson wrote on the Watch Dogs website.
“We test and optimize our games for each platform on which they’re released, striving for the best possible quality.
Modders are usually creative and passionate players, and while we appreciate their enthusiasm, the mod in question (which uses those old settings) subjectively enhances the game’s visual fidelity in certain situations but also can have various negative impacts.
Those could range from performance issues, to difficulty in reading the environment in order to appreciate the gameplay, to potentially making the game less enjoyable or even unstable. |

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ubisoft-drm-can-t-stop-piracy/1100-6420602/
Quote: | "What becomes key for us is making we're delivering an experience to paying players that is quality," Ubisoft VP of digital publishing Chris Early told GameSpot. "I don't want us in a position where we're punishing a paying player for what a pirate can get around. Anything is going to be able to pirated given enough time and enough effort to get in there. So the question becomes, what do we create as services, or as benefits, and the quality of the game, that will just have people want to pay for it?" |
Quote: | During our interview, I brought up the claim that Bethesda's recently released FPS Wolfenstein: The New Order was pirated over 100,000 times in its first week. According to Early, it's a "mistake" to consider that entire figure as lost sales because some number of people were always going to steal the game. |

Fucking morons We should have seen this message right after ACII was bypassed, but here we are, in 2014, where enough time has passed for them to actually acknowledge this. |
Haha yeah, and I'm fairly sure I can dig up at least 2-3 post-ACII interviews where they still take up the cudgels on behalf of their beloved DRM policies. Hypocrisy at its finest

Not to mantion this stupid shitty figures and plastic models of something that are bundled with "XXXXX editions" of the games...What am i? A 8 years children? Back in the days, you just receive disk in case and thats it. All the enjoy from the game is on the screen, not from laying next to me plastic figure...
Just look at this shits from the table - Exclusive Packaging ( ), "iconic" cap, figure, "Reality" cards.... Shits, shits, shits everywhere...
And at the end, game is still unplayable, boring, ugly, and stupid.
