He was back in his home town, where he used to teach in high school, the kids he taught to invited him to our version of prom, because he was a great teacher.

Anycow I got message this morning that he has broken his arm. He was arm wrestling with some kid that was in his class. He says he wasn't drinking, it was for fun, and somehow he broke his humerus :\

He says that the kid is strong, but my bf is no 'flower'. He goes to gym, has big muscles, he's a strong fellow. I really don't know how that happened :\

Now he has a cast on, and he sad doc said that if he has surgery, the healing will be quicker.

I won't see him for a month Sad

I'm sad now Sad

How the fuck do you break your arm while arm wrestling?!

Considering there's a COMPILATION of arms getting broken on YT during arm wrestling, it really is quite easy Laughing

He's 28, 29 in two months. He's in cast, and he says it doesn't hurt that much. But still :\

I'm angry and sad at the same time. How do you break your stupid arm in such a stupid way?!

I just hope he won't be in trouble at his firm. He has a lot of work and is under much stress.

But on the other hand (no pun intended) he needed rest. He was getting exhausted.

As my friend explained it, 'the feeling that you're able to do absolutely anything with each other brings another level of intimacy'. Judging by the look in his wife's eyes when he said it, he's just a pervert Very Happy

Thread delivers.

On a serious note, apparently pregnant ladies like to be fisted to get them ready? Sure I read about that.

Confused as to why your bf cannot come home for a month because he broke his arm as a teacher?!

Hang in there, he's still got another! (Fist) (sorry)

Sorry to hear dingo_xd, hope he gets well soon. He should perhaps look to test his bone consistency and what not. This may be a precursor to something more serious.

He's in another city and basically his right hand (complete) is in a cast, so he'll stay at his parents house there. He went to a prom, because he was a teacher there, now he's not Very Happy

Yeah, that was the first thing that popped into my mind Sad I'm kinda hypochondriac, and I didn't say anything, I don't want to freak him out. I hope it's nothing more than a broken bone. He showed me the diagnosis, and it's: fractured diaphysis of humerus with angulation and ad latus displacement of fragments (if my translation is correct).

He can move it, and it doesn't hurt that much, but he might get surgery to quicken the recovery time.

He's the same age as me.. it's a sign that we're getting old! Crying or Very sad

I'm sorry Dingo, a friend did the exact same thing a couple of months ago (was acting all badass and ended up being mocked xD), but it really sucks, especially in the summer. The rehabilitation is a pita too :/. Apparently it's quite common, and being muscular often makes things worse. Wish him a speedy recovery!

Sorry to hear. I only had one bone broken and thankfully it was during my birth so I cannot remember it (my clavicle). I hear it's the most painful thing imaginable. Glad it's not as bad for him. Although, did he say how bad it was when it happened? If it wasn't a big deal, then it's all the more important to check things out.
