Still no invite here and I'm actually interested in it...
Same here, I would like to try it despite what everyone says. Need some new f2p to fill a spare time. Haven't played Warframe for a few weeks, even stopped with daily logins ;D
This is actually pretty decent, well for a F2P game with a good publisher backing it. I grabbed a founders pack from GMG for £3.75! Played it for a few hours last night and really enjoyed the vast difference between playing as humans vs playing as vampires.
Yeah, it is. It's just that it is what it says it is as well, meaning closed beta. Very little content in it for the moment. The business model seems ok, which is what I was scared of.
Played a bit, seems ok. Every item (so far) can be acquired by playing (except skins, naturally). Not sure about new classes, it requires something else.
Only problem is with team balancing. I don't know if it just happened to be or is it supposed to be that way, but when I played (for the first time) my team were all 1 lvl versus the enemy team 4-8 lvl. The next time wasn't so horrible, there were only 2 players with lvl 1 (myself included) and we both were in a same team against "more" experienced players.
What really caught my eye is that players always stick together -because they know that they won´t survive on their own- but still, it´s something rarely seen these days.
In that regard is truly a team based game, you can take down a couple enemies if you´re good or lucky, but you can´t always be the star of the show.
Yeah, since playing as a vampire you can easily kill unsuspected enemy: pounce -> after you get up 2-3 hits -> and he's dead. Or as a "tank": ram -> that Q button thing -> 1-2 hits -> dead

Still kicked their asses, well, I at least I did
Classes are either bought with money or you get a coin thing every 5 levels to unlock a class. I'd just wait, getting to 10 is pretty quick going. I like the business model but I'd like to see more information on the drop system.. although I could probably do with doing more research on this !
