Well he made that one up (his real last name is Van Varenberg, which means "of Varenberg" or "from Varenberg" in old Dutch) but it would be something along the lines of "of the dam" if it's the old Dutch word for Dam, or as Morph says, "from Damme" if it's a town
If Van Persie had an ë instead of e as last letter it would've been "Robin from Persia"
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Socceroos have great heart and a never die attitude no matter how big of a underdog they are. Still, it feels like Chile is seriously grinding them, and if the match continues on like this they will have nothing left in the tank 30 minutes into the second half and this just might turn into another landslide. Good match though
Looks like humidity (apart from heat) is a huge factor where they're playing. They're very close to Pantanal one of the largest tropical wetlands in the world. I guess dehydration is gonna be a big issue in the last 20 minutes or so

was surprised by the resistance australia put up. good game.
+1. Australia surprised me with their vertiginous attacks , they certainly generated some chaos in the chilean defense.
Also, Vidal shouldn't start in the next match, he's in no condition to play at this level right now. If Sampaoli insists, that's gonna hurt the team's performance against Spain.

Just found this, haha
That's great. Imagine what would happen if Australia ended up denying Spain a playoff spot in the last group game
