29-yr-old woman has spent over £50,000 on her Hello Kitty obsession
Natasha Goldsworth is on the hunt for the man of her dreams, but he might be hard to locate because he would need to put up with a flat crammed with £50,000 worth of 'Hello Kitty' collectibles. Horse trainer Natasha, 29, got hooked on the cartoon character as a teenager and has spent 15 years collecting 10,000 items. Every room of her flat is now filled with Hello Kitty accessories including jewellery, furniture, clothing, curtains, and 4,000 cuddly toys.

Reg was just making a point that if/when a guy does this, he's ridiculed and made to seem inferior just because he has a hobby or a lifestyle he's obsessed with. When women do it, it's "cute" and "empowering" and "agency" and however many new feminist buzzwords are thrown about. I mean, did you read the article? How many times did you read about the "bad boyfriends" who "tried to change her"? Why were boyfriends even brought up other than to show how "strong" and "independent" she is for kicking them out after daring to question the Amazing Woman and Her perfect hobby? So no, she's not being single out nor "attacked" any more than guys are for their hobbies.
Personally I don't care what she, or anyone else for that matter, does with her apartment -- though that kitchen is ridiculous. It's one thing having a house/shrine dedicated to your passion, but come on... at least keep it in perspective so that it doesn't encroach on daily actions .. like.. hmm, I don't know... cooking? Going to the toilet?

I read that completely opposite, as in the reporter thinks she's a total loony and the boy friends was the easiest way to show that she actually has been in contact with real people at some point but with out much success. The whole article reads as an exhibition of a weird person.
