Ref seems to call foul on even the minor battles, it fragments the game too much in my opinion! He needs to let the smaller battles and checks go to get some flow in the match. Players understand they can get free kicks and fall over way too easily now!

Well grabbing, pulling, pushing... that should get out of the game tbh. That's not the contact I want to see in a game.
Usually pissed me off quite bad while playing, so a hard tackle would follow against those handsy twats

Croatia is a very solid team. Should go on to the next phase without too much trouble.

An entertaining match from a neutral standpoint, but the referee was really mediocre and ruined it in my opinion. I hope the other fifamen are a lil' bit more prepared, otherwise I predict lots of animated rants.

Thought both the penalty and not calling a fault on Brasil before the 3rd goal were bs. IMO Croatia looked much better than Brasil in the second half. Should be an easy win for Mexico if Brasil plays like that against them.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

I haven't missed international reffing much. First half was ok, but he really lost the plot in the second and lost control over the game. It's the consequence of having refs from smaller leagues lacking experience on the big stage like this. Let's just all hope this doesn't turn out to be another 2002 going forward
