Ehhhhh... he's kinda right, really. Yes gta started on pc, but the gta as it is today... Moving from top down to the hugely mainstream popular 3d third person sandbox behemoth it is today, was thanks to the console switch from pc... So in THAT light, I'd say he's correct...
Cant say for sure that the franchise would be what it is today, or even if it would still be around, without the console jump with gta3, I'm sorry to say.
Anyway, all that aside, I guess I'll pirate this when it comes out and see if rockstar managed to make the franchise any better than the ultra beige gta 4... I have my doubts  |

It didn't start with Sony so therefore he's not right. The only "Sony" exclusives are the portable Stories series, everything else has been PC and Xbox. Nobody is talking about where it was famous, just his bullshit - and grossly erroneous - statement of "it started with us"

I just hope they are going to improve loading between characters a little bit, while it was reasonable on XboX360/PS3. I would still like it to be a little bit faster.
