Hi
I used the default settings in alcohol, i don't think it matters though as i had problems installing alcohol and it said the emulation drivers were disabled, but it still works, you don't even need the disc in to play, just the image mounted in daemon tools, with safedisc option enabled, and anti blaxx to run it

The nfo says: Safedisc 4.6
Alcohol only has these 2 options:
Safedisc
Safedisc 2/3

I did the windows nt compatibility trick and it works, but I am a little worried that it might slow the game down to run it in compatability mode? What do you guys think?
Anyone know WHY it works to run the game in indows NT mode? If I dont it asks for the cd if I do it works. Strange. Also, shouldt the image be a precise replica of the orignal cd and people with the original cd dont have to do this!

"GAME WORKS FINE WITH DAEMON TOOLS"
Just tried this
Why nfo says use antiblaxx if this is safedisc?
You dont need the antiblaxx shit.
Just mount with d-tools and play
(be careful-autorun seems not working so find the setup.exe to install)
And you dont have to burn.........
Core2duo 6600 / 8800gtx / 2gb ddr2 667

What version of d-tools are you using, because we are a lot of people who have to set comp mode to nt.
What are your other system settings? What service pack of XP?

Are you running compatibility mode? I suspect it might have something to do with that...

I managed to make it work on Windows 2000 SP4: you must disable all your CD/DVD drives from control panel except the virtual one, mount the image with Daemon Tools 3.47 without any emulation enabled, use the VirtualCDHide tool and after all this the game starts. I have installed the 6.01 patch before doing all this. I hope a no-cd crack will be out soon to fix all this because I don't want to do this over and over again.

Yesterday the game worked fine with me.
Played it with the patch with no problems.
I used Daemon Tools with emulation on. No compatibility mode.
With a friend of mine I used the same excpet i had to change compatibility mode to NT.
We were able to play the game.
Today none of us are able to play it. "Please insert the correct CD-ROM".
I don't understand why the game worked yesterday but not today.
Anyone have the same problem?

Is there any way to avoid having to use the CD with the full game? I hate having to keep the CD in.

Yep. Tried both SD4Hider and Virtual CD Hide with no effect.
I reinstalled the game on both computers, and on my computer it works.
On my friends computer it worked the first time after it was reinstalled. When we quit the game and tried to launch it again there were no response in NT mode and "insert cd" in no compitability mode. After another reinstall it only worked the first time as well. Weird.

Just burn it on cd with Alcohol 120% and mode: Safedisc 2/3 and then you don't need compatiblity mode so no low memory error.
