I can't believe anyone would speak badly of this game.

It is both awesome and hilarious.

Hahah!!! Just had the dance off with the police chief, that was fun, I like those kinds of mini games.

This game is way too cool. I love watching a lone cop try to battle off my zombie horde, he tries so hard! lol. Very Happy

I still havent tried this game but no audio is a major sucky issue! Anyway I found this on the isonews forums. Maybe you guys can try it and let us know? Very Happy

If your playing on a PAL Xbox be sure to set it to NTSC mode before playing this release.

The game might work overall pretty good in PAL mode but theres some issues... most noticably the audio in the cut scenes is out of sync. Also the entire game is overall sluggish and slow (lower framerate) because of PAL mode, which you might think is just the game itself being that it's zombies and stuff. It also "breaks" the grain filter that's on the game at all times, probably due to PAL being higher res.

Anyway, just make sure it's run on NTSC mode because it actually improves the graphics on this release. Very weird way to handle different regions.

lol check this issue out I read someone was having!

For those who have it working with sound, could you please post your set up? Like what region box, softmod, chip and bios etc.

I havent tried the game yet but I have an Aladdin Live modchip. Cant remember what settings I have at the moment but Ill post back when I find out. Still at work atm!

Someone on the newzbin forum said they have the game working with sound on the following setup.

X-Box 1.3 @ NTSC, Standard AV Pack and X2VGA+ [the HD X2VGA]
Xenium ICE mod chip
XeniumOS 2.3.0 on my chip
IND-BIOS 5003, boots with ind-bios.cfg (non-injected config)

Anyone got Aladdin modchip and no sound? I wonder if it could be an xecuter related problem?

I was having the same sound problems as everyone else, the game would run with out audio from both dvd-r & hdd. But if put the dvd-r in the drive & reset the xbox it's works perfectly.

I have PAL 1.1 xbox with an Xecuter 2 chip.

works on both my xboxs as well

UK Xboxes
xecutor 2.3 modchips
on both UnleashX dash and evox dash
4983 and 4981 bios

As for the game it got boring fast, seemed a little repetetive but I gave it a chance and played through to the cornfields level just after the part with the guy that has a chainsaw.

It may have some multiplayer potential but from what I've played of it so far im hardly impressed.

it works fine on my xbox, I'm using evolutionx dash version 3935, my box is modded with an xecutor 3 chip bios version 3108
I can only suggest those having probs try adding this to their evox.ini if using evolutionx
in the [misc] section add the lines
Adjust Game Region in Evox settings = yes
GameRegion = 1

this is what I had to do to get Super Monkey Ball working and have never had a problem running a game since

Hope that may be of some help to people

I also have no sound with the repack very irritating, oddly my xbox is set to ntsc so I dont think thats the problem with the no sound issue, strangely I get sound on the load screens & when it goes to demo mode just none when playing the game using
Pal Xbox
Softmod
EvoX dash 3935 (think thats the one or did I get the numders reversed I never look anymore)
set to NTSC north america
igr on
tsr normal

Bad release perhaps? I read reviews of it saying it ha good sound & cant hear a single thing in it. Oh yeah & theres no sound on the intro vid or cut scenes either.

I have aladdin 64 chip and I have sound. This game is pretty easy and fun. Turning the whole town into zombies is fun as hell. Command your zombies and kill cops. You get upgrade abilities later one that are pretty cool.

try turning igr off,
if memory serves me correctly there's 3 igr settings on the evox.ini you need to set to no

Tried turning it off earlier from in the dash, no change at all, it only has on or off to set, you're thinking of the tsr setting there with 3 options I think. Shame really as it seems a nice game, just wish I could ahve sound for it

heh. some classic moments on this game. such as when in the mall, when you finally get to eat some femme brains. there was this one zombie female that i found...she had no legs, no arms, just a stump where her head used to be...kinda making rasping noises and squirming around on the ground. well i felt sorry for her so i help her get into the action by kicking her torso around where i went.. too bad the chainsaw hick finished her off by cutting her up into a dozen pieces tho Sad

Sounds daft I know . But try deleting the save file from dash . And reload . This has worked with me in a few Repacks / Diff regions .

I have the repack and it works fine on a PAL box set to NTSC.

Funny game, and the sound effects have got to be the best ever in a game..lol

Eating brains in co-op is absolutely comical.

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

I love the music in this game! It fits perfectly!

And I cant get this goddamn song out of my head!

Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Make him the cutest that I've ever seen
Give him two lips like roses and clover
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over.

Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream.
