What about game itself? As a fan of FFVII, VIII, IX and XII will the one bring old memories back? I hated strictly turn-based battles and main character in X and weak plot in XII (aswell with the battle system). How about Type-0?

@H4wkeye

Yep!

@gromar

How can you hate strictly turn-based battles when you're a fan of VII/VIII/IX? Very Happy But either way, this plays and feels and looks like Crisis Core - only with a different world to Gaia/FF7 - it's real time combat with adjustable "action buttons"

Hah, I got the Wii mote to work with Dolphin and Skyward Sword looks gorgeous at 4x native So Much Win

Motion controls in a Zelda game feel weird though, I guess it's a "getting used to it" thing.

Would a wireless sensor bar be better in any way than the first released sensor bar? If it is more sensitive or something, I could buy it. Would be a nice cheap gift for my buddy too.

Are you running the latest SVN? This was an old early 2013 bug and should be long since fixed Neutral

To be honest the last time i tested was mid-2013, and since it was the only PSP game i was interested to play, i gave up. Gonna grab the latest SVN to test it then, ty! Very Happy

So much for localising the PSP version, eh?

"We are pleased to announce that, due to the incredible outpouring of fan support, the localisation of Final Fantasy Type-0 is officially underway!

.... on the PS4/XBONE. top lel!!!11111111 LOL"

Master trolls. Thankfully we have the (FREE) fan-made translation.

why not localize it the first time? translation is a minor cost compared to the waste done in marketing.

Because it's Square-Enix and even when they were Square/Squaresoft, they were still absolute morons when it came to their own games.

"English? Localise our games...? But... there's no demand for it! The West doesn't like our games! Baka Gaijin! No no, it's best we keep our games to ourselves, we don't need to make more money"

Well i have a Galaxy note 3 most playable games i tried run fine but i still need to enable auto frameskip and lower the stettings to get fullspeed all the time i heard even the nvidia shield (yeah not exactly a smartphone but the most powerfull mobile android machine i know) needs to do that to get the games fullspeed all the time.
You should try Crisis core if you liked type-0 it's very similiar

Daxter, Ratchet & Clank PSP, Saint Seiya PSP, all run fine on iPhone 5... Probably more.

Wipeout games are a slideshow, even on 5S for some reason, same as God of War...

Sadly my pissy little iPad2 is incapable of emulating the PSP at playable speeds, so that's a shame.. I'm house-sitting with my wife in a few days and I'll be gone for a couple weeks, it would have been nice to have that option when I was away. Guess I'll have to put Type-0 on hold for now Sad

Don't expect A5 CPU to be able to emulate any PSP game ever sadly. You need A6 minimum Sad

Yes, I know, but it still sucks Sad Still.. I've seen the kind of PCs required to run 3D titles on the PSP emulators, so it's hardly unsurprising.

^^ Also, adding on from WinUAE, for people that aren't overly keen on tinkering with settings, etc.. there's a frontend based on WinUAE that greatly simplifies everything. Much like D-Fend was to DOSbox;

My elder brother, who loves emulation but doesn't want the PITA of constant configuration, absolutely adores FS-UAE.
