Hi! My Quake has no sound Evil or Very Mad everything else works great! I have installed the latest DirectX and allso installde new OpenAL Drivers. But when I klick in to the "advaced sound options" in Quake. It tells me that my sound card does not support OpenAL. Games like F.E.A.R and Black & White 2 has no problems at all. can someone please help? Confused

Hmm, annoying problem

It says the same on my computer but my sound works.

okey. thats strange... I have tried to uppdate my soundcard drivers it doesnt help.

Im haven the exact same issues i have the audigy zs 2 plat and i can here the music on install but get no sound whatsoever in the game. my drivers are updated as well nothing ?
Any help would be cool, before i just uninstall it.. a

Make SURE you have the beta Audigy drivers installed, which allow support for the newest version of openAL.

I have SB Live!. I install the drivers and openal and still no sound in game. Sad
Anybody? Any sugestion?
