Oh god... a friend of mine has this avatar of some fucked up samurai calling himself Zaraki Kenpachi, that's his MSN name. We always fuck him on MSN about that, that he's a child for watching anime that It's all bullshit, etc, but he keeps holding on to the fact that it rocks.

Hmmph, i can remember a time not long ago when most people would say those who play games are consider to be children and its all bullshit. Frankly aint that time still around?
And yeah, i think Bleach is pretty good too, its the biggest action anime around, especially now when this Naruto season is all crap.

Bleach is nice, but it really went downwards for me, when they entered the soul society and introduced the 3 million other shinegamis.

Thats weird, most people would say thats where the show really kicks off.
I think the soul society arc is fabulous, more characters more action.

Whats there not to like? It has blood, action, humor, moral issues, underdogs becoming champions, impossible comebacks. Sure its animated, but so is the Simpsons.

NGE is sooo fucked up because of him yes, and thats what the story is about, preassure, he's feelings and how he react to things. You gotta admit that the boy doesn't really have he's life on a silverplate. More like a trashcan.
Don't read this unless you've seen the series + the movies.
 Spoiler: | In the ending of the movie he becomes a god and destroys those who wishes not to survive. Mankinds era is over... and he created a world for himself and Auska. He kinda revived her. Notice that she says that she's pregnant. Some has theories that she feels sick because of what shinji did. He did it because she was the onlyone he ever loved. One thing i didn't really get was why Auska got killed by the spear of longingluss, (spear of destiny, the spears the romans says to have killed christ with). Anyway it's kinda like Adam and Eve back in Shinji's new world. Atleast for him  . |

Still enjoy a bit of Anime, didn't like Bleach at all though.
Mai HiME, Mai Otome, Last Exile, Elfen Lied, Scrapped Princess, Magical Girl Nanoha, and Shakugan no Shana (so far) are the very few I've enjoyed...

Watch Sky Blue (Wonderful Days in its original Korean). The plot will probably seem samey to you old fellas, but its fucking beautiful I swear. The seamless integration of real life, CG and hand drawn elements and the sense of scale! The music is really damn good aswell.
Other than that, Ghost In The Shell 1 & 2 are pretty damn good aswell.
