SO, like have at least 70% approval for a temp-ban.
So when there's like a mass spamming, requesting kid doing something he shouldn't and mods are getting comfy in their beds besides a keg of beer these 10 or 9 individuals could like vote for a ban (which would require at least 70%) of that one person who was doing things they shouldn’t.
The ban would be for like 30 minutes
It could be totally monitored by moderators and other fancy people.
Oh! And give each of them a veto ball!  So if one of them feels strongly about not banning a person the vote wouldn't pass without an approval from the powers-that-be

That sounds like a good idea. Some way to mod/kick someone for a temp period of time because they are being completely retarded.
As for the resonibility like Esel suggested, I welcome it. I would have no problem being a mod or on a "mod" team.
We need a mod and MRT to comment on this issue  |

Exactly the type of mentallity that disgusts me...
Those with higher post counts have contributed alot more than those 1 post wonders who come in here because they cant Game X to work...WE ARE NOT WAREZ TECHNICAL SUPPORT! fuck....rather, most of us a friends to a certain degree and will help each other or the occasional noob, if he asks nicely or something of the sort.
And its even more annoying when u reply to a noob problem honestly, they dont like your honest answer and start the flaming...takes the will outta helping thos who need it |

o no. I would not let half of these people be mods a rating system = lame just leave it alone. what you're really asking for instead of it saying 'member' it says 'uber l337 contributor!!!' or whatever. what's the point? |

Y'all didn't get the point!
Say you put sublime, acc and fisk into a room together.
Inside this room was an egg.
If those three wanted to live in peace they'd have to care for the egg.
They'd put their differences aside and do what's best for the egg!
Those 9 + 1 Sublime (those 9 were picked from scrolling up and down)
Would work not for their own sleek pleasure but for the board.
It’s not an idea that should be considered.
But it's something you should ponder upon.
It's what, in my opinion, some mods go through.
Instead of what seems that they're doing something for their own good they're actually doing something for the good of the board.
See… if you put 10 members of a community with different views on life into a room. They’ll argue, they’ll fight but if they all wanna live in a peaceful community they’ll work together to make it so.
And on another note! My underwear smells funny!

I don't like the rating-pr-postcount idea.
As suggested in the Site Feedback forum, a ratingsystem where users could rate the member based on their replays is a much more fair idea, but I fear it would also lead to some people just voting, say 1, just for the sake of it.
I've been here for a long time, and although I don't post that much I read allot of the discussions here and I why shouldn't I and the other members that don't post _that_ much not be able to view a some sort of 'elite'-forum?
I have to say I do like the idea of some sort of rating, but I think that it will be very difficult to do it in a fair way.

rating system is also stupid. what's the bloody point? just leave it how it is and if a mod can be arsed - allow them to assign 'custom classes' to certain members who they deem worthy

i ve been on nforce since 3-4 years, havent been active all the time though, my post count is obviously pretty low for that timespan but that doesnt make me less of a member.
i dont have the time to go into every single thread and post something, i just pick threads which seem interesting to me and only post if i have something to say (ok am guilty of spam a few times but thats it).
