I'm still wondering if it will be as deep as L.A. Noire in the investigation related gameplay.

I agree with you, these AA- games often have somewhat "innovative" mechanics that make them unique and different from the masses of copy-paste sequels/one billion dollar hits made to cater to an audience composed by grandmas, housewives and yo-yo bros.
Sometimes they flop, too, but at least they try!

Darkness, Timeshifs, Spec Ops The Line, Metro games, Binary Domain... to name a few

Hmm, according to SteamDB there is no WW version of M:SS like there was with AMD version of Thief. There is only ROW one.

My copy-paste from the consoles section:
Managed to play only 1 hour and a half last night because the kids went late to bed.
The game so far is a hybrid of Heavy Rain/L.A. Noire but in a smaller scale ofc. The story is ok, voiceovers could be better and graphics (PS3) are better than I expected. Afaik the game is just ported to PS4 so the difference will be just the higher resolution.
Need to play more today and dig into the investigation element of the game.
Also I found very good the presentation and the direction of the cutscenes.

OST composer is Jason Graves (Dead Space, Alpha Protocol, Tomb Raider).
