If it's really something close to Revelations (that I quite liked) only with higher budget/production values, then good.
If it's something akin to Brosident Pew 6 and the likes, then it can stay in the land of the nope xD

scary small places ,
oooozeee ,
tight camera placed on ass ,
limited randomised ammo to go "we are a survival horror game about a trained commando with RPGs , but he hid those rockets ... oooohhhh its so scary" ,
grinding challenges to unlock shit [guns, skins, ohhh a dildo in ass , oh that tootoo and bra],
scanning every centimeter to scan with a new scanner shit to find invisible items or scan oooozzzzzzingggg to better kill ooozzzinggg ,
oh dont forget those shooting segments with unlimited ammo ,
or those run bitch run segments on a timer ....

Agreed. Though, from my perspective, even a kick in the nuts is better than RE6 
I'm waiting for that official RE7 announcement, the "we're glad to disclose that with our new iteration, we're going back to the roots LOL NOPE YOU GULLIBLE FOOLS" one

kinda surprised there wasnt any nextgen remaster (apart from RE1 reremake) from Capcom and overall almost no Capcom's presenc at E3 or GC

I'm still waiting for these bastards to release a PC version of Dragon's Dogma, but that wish has long gone into the nopebin. It would have been a success. Sometimes, you just can't explain things

Protagonists: Claire Redfield and Moira Burton - Barry "where is Barry" Burton's daughter.
Enemies: zombie-like, but NOT zombies.
Place in timeline: between RE5 and RE6.
Campaign: Singleplayer or Co-op (so RE5/6 like)
Claire gameplay style: pew pew
Moira gameplay style: provide herbs, flashlight and general support
Regardless of if you play as Claire or Moira - Moira must keep Claire alive as Claire's death is the only way to Game Over.
Setting: abandoned island detention facility.
More horror than action? It'll be similar to RE: Revelations instead of RE5/6.
My comment: The semi-forced co-op is disappointing but Moira sounds interesting and if the game builds upon what Revelations did well there might still be hope.

Not a big fan of having a companion around all the time in a -supposedly- horror game, it ruins the atmosphere for me. The rest does look interesting though, at least it's not as cheap as Revelations #1 in terms of production values. Will definitely play it, but still, it's not exactly the RE that I'm looking for :<
