Hi I finally upgraded my PC after... 7 YEARS! So now I want a new monitor. I have problem deciding if I want a 1440p one or 1080p one. The purpose is mainly for gaming. My rig: Core i5 4670k@4.4Ghz, 8GB Ram, Radeon 280X (probably will upgrade in 2 years time). As far as I know this specs can handle 1440p with higher quality settings in 30-60fps. Most of the games I play is single player ones, I don't really need a stable 60fps to have a good time. So I'm thinking about 1440p for higher quality (though probably with 2x or no AA). I can afford: BenQ BL2710PT Asus PB278Q IIYAMA ProLite XB2776QS Dell U2713HM Or buy a good 1080p monitor at about 30-50% of that price. What would you suggest me?

1080p is already nor enough for 23inch. If You are going 27, i would get 1440 dell is a good choice but it don't have hdmi 3080 \| ps5 pro Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..." Image is really aliased at 1080p/23inches. I need 4xSSAA to reduce jaggiec completly or when no other option is available and aliasing in a game is bad, I am going for older drivers and downsampling from 1440p.

And I might not be bothered by 30fps in SOME games but graphics are more important for me. I jsut hate aliasing

You can still aim at 23 16:9. The aliasing is not that bad.
