Was Reading Rainbow broadcast globally? I remember watching them a bunch from 1st-5th grade in school here in the US. I had no idea they broadcast overseas (nor that they lasted till 2009).

It's an admirable goal in my opinion, but their funding "needs" reek just a little bit too much of for profit to me. Then again, what the fuck do I know.
