how can you downgrade ps3 60gb fat from 4.00 OFW to anything under 3.55 OFW?

no offense but it's been stated endless times already (and google will detail it more) : you need a hardware flasher to do so. NO way software wise sadly, Sony learned a lot since the 3.55 private keys calculations fail.

Quick question gents, I forgot how this works.
If we get patches with PSN Stuff, and there are multiple patches for a title, must they still all be downloaded and applied in order?
Or can we now just grab the last update file?

it's few months old,but apparently , there is CFW which act like OFW

it's enable you downgrade CFW easily after that. it's purpse it's playing legit games online safetly,and then "going underground" with CFW easily for offline stuffs,it is safe?,I really want to play destiny

Can anyone tell me is Slim CECH-2004B (probably the latest firmware installed) safe for hacking and what would be the cheapest/smartest/easiest way to make .ISOs work?

Yeah, that one's old enough to be downgraded.
I suggest finding some place near you that'll do the downgrade for you; or you could get a hardware flasher and do it yourself, but that's quite an investment for a one-off thing

I could get one for 65€ without pads or anything else but wondering is it still worth it? 
BTW hacked console obviously cannot download updates or such for the games because they require PSN?

@escalibur: you can just download the updates manually, they're not hard to find. You can even grab them straight from Sony, Multiman's pretty great. Don't need PSN 
65 without pads for one on OFW isn't that bad, although not getting a pad with it sucks.
As for whether it's worth it? Depends on what kind of games you like. There's loads of great exclusives, but if you're like KC and will skip games because they're "JRPG" when they're really tactical games that just have a Jap look (Valkyria Chronicles), then I wouldn't bother

PSX is my last console so far so I thought maybe playing some Resident Evils, Twisted Metal, maybe GT6 etc could be fun.
I don't want used pad for hygienic reasons and I can buy new one that's fine. Obviously the price would be around 150€ after new pad and modding/buying E3 flasher etc...

PS4 (recently sold for 300-380€, new) could be interesting but then again paying about 60€ for a single game is a bit too much. :/

Probably but what I've seen people are asking about 45€ + postage for downgrade service.
