Yeah that's dumb. The mechanics aren't changed between platforms, e.g. GTA IV is the same on consoles as it is on PC. Only the graphics.

Don't worry PS3 and Xbox 360 users
If you're worried that you won't be able to experience a next generation game to its full extent because you have a PS3 and Xbox 360, it's safe to say you'll still have a jolly good time.
You'll get a sort of HD visual experience on the next-gen consoles, but the mechanics and the immersion of the game remain the same.
Wow, I thought on nfohump people are smarter than on other mainstream forums.
Yeah except for visuals nothing can change since the code base for programming does not changes at all
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
Seriously, I cannot grasp how some people say it looks like a PS2, so dumb, no matter if you know what PS2 graphics are or owned one, which is mandatory for such a statement, at least employ some kind of common graphic comparision knowledge instead of derping this shit on here

Why the hell is the install fucked. game installs 100% then load dvd2. it says dvd 2 is fucked!
yes I manually added the files to get it to work. BUT.... what they put the wrong files on the wrong dvd????
yes tried both p2p and complex versions
and tried GOD and file methods
both same result FAIL DVD2 its like they fucked the files for the dvds
its gonna be a shit storm if that happen for retail versions!
COMPLEX works by using the 'put installation files into DVD2 folder' method.
The game is pretty damn good. The game at daytime in the city looks pretty shitty of course, no AA or AF. The character and car models on the other hand are pretty detailed, looks about the same as GTA 5. And smoke looks absolutely amazing in this game.
The action (aka cover fight) part of the game isn't up to rockstars standards, but it feels smoother than saints row and sleeping dogs. Some people probably see it as a minor thing, but there is no visual blood when you shoot people, and it really bothers me.
The driving IS good. Its fast and responsive, and a little unforgivable at times. If you over steer at high speeds its very hard to straighten the car, just like in real life. Anyways, after some time you should be able to drive at high speed without hitting any cars.
The upgrades are GREAT, and make a big difference. When the cops are after you in the beginning of the game your only choice is to change the lights at the crossroads, later you can get upgrades that let you open gates and garage doors, then raise and lower bridges, disable police helicopters etc. 3 other sections of upgrades that aren't that unique.
I agree with BOOMDOOM when it comes to the story... its not really that interesting, and until now very anti climax. Im on Act 2 (of 5). I know from trailers, that I haven't met half the characters yet.... so we'll see. But until now its been very average.
The activities are pretty funny, some of those are as crazy as saints row ones
I wish even one line of your post being true but sadly it isn't
Copy the content of the two Installation folders from DISK 1 to the main directory of DISK 2 and then delete default.xex from DISK2. After that rename game.xex to default.xex. You are good to go
- First of all the graphics are not that bad and nowhere near the crappy gif's I've seen posted earlier. In fact they are quite good. Ofc not on par with GTAV but the lighting is good and there is less aliasing than Rockstar's game. Do you guys have your TV calibrated? I have mine calibrated with a disc+custom calibration for hours to get the best off it.
- The framerate is smooth and I've not seen a single drop so far. Traffic is not heavy but it doesn't feel empty too.
- Handling is mediocre but not bad. Reminds me of Sleeping Dogs car handling but it feels heavier.
- Gameplay now: Well, it's Hackassin's Creed. A simple one button mechanic in repetition everytime and everywhere combined with some stealth mechanics and finally pursuits. I can't deny it, it's fun here and there but the whole project falls short because it gets repetitive and the story (?) is laughable. I've played in Realistic difficulty and AI was ok. Didn't encounter any bugs but I didn't "stress" situations.
In overall, enjoyable title but the delays, great expectations and false advertisement will surely disappoint the most gamers.
Finally the inevitable comparison: Firing up again GTAV after playing this one you can easily spot the high production values of Rockstar's game. It's an AAA title and this feels like a side project and unfortunately it isn't a Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

Awww man, seriously considering cancelling my ps4 preorder- got iit for £40. ..... .hmmmmmmmmmm
You shouldn't say for sure, there's varied opinions and it doesn't mean YOU won't enjoy it just because some others didn't.
Graphically the game is good, for what you expect off a last gen version. Gameplay is also good, with a few exceptions. I guess some people just expected WAY too much from this because of the PR Ubisoft fired up for this.
Im actually enjoying my ps4 copy - gfx are way way better than x360 - mechanics etc. are the same - but for me the game is fun - im not so much into the story of games - so i don't mind the lack of. Sure it's no gta V.
