Love god games? Love having the power of control in your hands? Then The Universim by Crytivo Games is just the game for you! Announced through Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight, The Universim gives you the power to guide your civilization from the beginnings of the stone age to the universe itself
The video is really well done. Though the planets seem a bit small to my taste.
It looks primising though.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Who knows. By the looks of it, this just might turn out to be Spore's tribal/civ/space phases actually done for people older than 5. The trailer looks very interesting and promising.
Damn, the complete description/features list from the Greenlight page sounds almost too good to be true. Extremely interesting if they manage to pull it off
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
Looks like they probably just barely get funded, which means they get the money but it's not even a fraction of what you'd need for all the promises they are making. So basically a Molyneux level of false promises has been successfully funded!

I don't think it's humanly possible to reach Molyneux's level of bullshitt-ness and broken promises, he's set extraordinary standards . I get your point though, and I share the concerns too, but I want to stay positive this time. The stretch goals aren't too interesting except for the editor at 500k, so I'm tempted to believe that the core gameplay won't get neglected in case of close call funding. *fingers crossed*
