There are bullet holes on windows and car, but it seems that most of the damage is indeed scripted. You can scratch your car, your windows can get smashed, but it doesn't seem to be procedural like in GTA IV or Mafia 1.

I mean, In GTA IV car damage was dynamic and all of it was reflected in handling. Wheels could get jammed etc. GTA5 nerfed the damage down

I mean, gta iv also had that heavy REALISTIC (at least imo) handling. most fun for any open world game imo... well mafia1 is up there too.
gta 5 was more arcadey and easier to have 'fun'. And it was good too just in different way

i like the action in this trailers and i think that the game is going to be cool 
two things that made me upset abit are the fact that you can't shoot while driving and this thing could fix easily the one hand driving issue  (i mean he could hold the wheel with the right hand and shoot with the left insted of doing  with the free hand)
and the second thing is the lack of piloting planes and helicopters.
but the things that cover for this lacks, are the slow motion shooting enemy tires (i like to shoot tires in games and cause reaction by that like in crysis  )
and i believe that the hacking Manipulations will do good during the action
so i am quite happy with this upcoming game to be honest
